Why didn’t he have a kill switch . The one I like is the “ ghost lock” it’s a electric kill switch for the fuel bump that you can shut off on your phone and it has gps. You can even turn off the car when they are driving it.

It’s funny you say that but here’s the problem. The tech is from 2014 it’s not being updated constantly no car company does that except maybe Tesla. Camaros are also being stolen at high rate. They are making new keys has nothing to do with security. Yet people don’t say Chevy has bad security. Seems like they all just repeat the same sentence” Dodge has terrible security. Then every car company does because making a new key is getting easier and easier.

More to the point, I have a friend who brought a TRX, payed a $125k, was stolen a week after, in a matter of a couple of minutes! So as I said, here in this post, the TRX is the issue! Still respect your comment and obviously it’s a problem with many cars!

Well well well... This is exactly why i have multiple theft protection precautions on my SRT. Won't say too much cuz don't wanna make it too easy for thieves but a free and easy way to protect your car is removing fuses. Choose which ones wisely. You can also remove the manual neutral lever but God help you if you ever needed it it's gonna be a pain

Thieves are just programming a new key to the vehicles like a locksmith would do. Go to dealership and get an "RF HUB Lockout". Programs the car so no new keys can be programmed, you might want to get a spare made before you do it. Also consider other things, kill switch, igla.

Unfortunately, my T/A Challenger was stolen about 3 months ago. They broke into my car and tried to steal it from my apartment. I got the car back and they came to my job and stole it. My car was found but thieves broke into the police impound and stole it back. The car was found again but had to be totaled cause thieves did over $21k in damage. 😢
