I Feel like trying to bend the bars would make you grip super hand meaning riding tight meaning getting arm pump crazy fast…

@@stevenallen4123 no doubt my technique and posture is not correct but I usually don’t have any issue in my lat’s. I’m always getting hand numbness/arm pump on the track. And im sure that’s from bad form and holding on letting the bike pull me instead of scooting up with hips out n flowing with the bike. I just feel like I’ve always been told to hold on more with knees n stay loose on bars so don’t create arm pump/fatigue.

@@justinbs19 i recently just got passed that stage. Get good boots and keep toes pointed in gripping with legs. And always lean into the throttle or ramp to put the pressure on your feet Forwards or backwards. It will come with time

I gess the idea is to be in a position like if you whant to brake the bars, not activly trying to do it.

Dude this guy has a PhD in human movement and has created a whole exercise system used by many pro athletes including Chase Sexton. Its a damned insult to compare him to Ryan Pubes 🤦‍♂️

I love what you guys are saying and I am intrigued. but turning your wrist to bend your handlebars down it's the opposite of how we want our hands to be on the bars. Seems counterintuitive or doing the opposite. Please advise

Favorite part was “sometimes we get worse before getting better.” Perfect example for Moto people retraining themselves how to ride correctly and having to slow down for months just to build new habits at lower speeds. In the long run you win, but it takes dedication and a trash can for our ego.

He’s saying engaged your back like you were trying to bend, which is the same thing has a holding a fifty pound dumble and not curling it, you’re still going to have your bicep activated. Also I don’t think he mentioned squeezing the grips cuz when I raced 250 b I was squeezing the grips too hard and that was the worst arm pump I’ve ever had
