So wierd.. that heat.. its almost like the sun is right towards my neck.... man... but this hypnotizing is one of the most relaxed feeling i felt in my life now i see... hypnotizing doesnt mean the guy hypnotizing you is controling you.. hes commanding you and you allow it.. but youll still be able to control your body.. its just that your mind will be able to control more your body than it normally

I've been doing hypnosis recreationally for a couple years via the kink scene, both in practice (mostly as a subject but sometimes as a top) as well as helping friends teach/lead hypnosis events, and when I stumbled across your channel through an odd progression of videos (Penn & Teller--> Shin Lim --> your magic tutorials-->hypnosis, who'd have thought!), I thought it would be fun to try this video out, and share my impressions/things that stood out, having come from a different school of hypnosis, so to speak. 1) I very much appreciated the safety disclaimers + pre-talk at the beginning of the video. It's important no matter what type of hypnosis is happening. :) In my experience with hypnosis in kink settings, there can sometimes be more pre-talk and negotiations depending on what it is you're doing, your familiarity with your partner, your different risk tolerances and experiences, etc. To see any kind of pre-talk in a more vanilla vid is awesome. 2) The voice/volume is different, which makes sense; I'm used to often hearing things in more quiet tones and in the erotic/recreational hypnosis scene we'll often talk about how it's important to use a different voice when speaking normally/outside of trance vs. when hypnotizing someone, so as to avoid people dropping into trance when it isn't desired. But, it makes sense for stage hypnosis that you'd have to strike a balance between a mellow cadence without too much of a drop in volume, when the aim is to put on a show/engage the audience/keep things high-energy. 3) Pacing and composition. Things felt like they were moving much more quickly than I'm used to, in terms of jumping from one type of suggestion to the next. Again, this makes sense given the context--wanting to keep things exciting/moving/high energy for the audience, and having a whole group of subjects instead of just one so if things don't have full effect on some folks it's nbd. There were a number of deepeners but not a whole lot of fractionation in this video, (again, makes sense), but if at the end of the video you were left with the "I want mmmoooooooaaaaarrrrr, I want to go even deeeeeeeeeper" feeling, check out fractionation--it's my fav. 4) Priming. A lot (not all, but a fair amount) of the suggestions were present-tense and not forward-looking or connected to specific triggers, i.e. you notice you are feeling X (as opposed to, "in a moment, I'm going to say X, and when I say X, you're going to feel/experience Y" (for example, clapping hands before introducing the suggestion that the heat would go away, and not clapping again, so it acted more as a pattern interrupt than a trigger). In one sense, it caught me a bit off-guard because I'm used to suggestions being described before they're implemented. But again, on further reflection, it makes sense given the context, as a means to both keep things moving, but also as a potential strategy to minimize the use of triggers and mitigate the risk of undesired post-hypnotic (lingering) suggestions. 5) Watching this through a couple times, I noticed the screen, "If you are seeing this, this will not work. Your eyes should be CLOSED" flag. This wording is so strong, I was curious whether that was intended as a safety suggestion for folks who wanted to watch the video through before trying it "for real", since I never really hear "it won't work unless you do X", because the intent is to help people believe that hypnosis is real and possible (and, while not the easiest, it's totally possible to be hypnotized with your eyes open). 6) For my newbies out there, there were a mix of different types of suggestions in this video, but they were primarily hallucinatory, be them visual (e.g. you're floating on a cloud in a blue sky and you notice the sky turn dark) or kinesthetic (e.g. you feel a tingle in your feet, you're feeling heat on your neck/in your body, etc). There were also some suggestions that were more analytical (you feel 1000x more relaxed, you feel the most relaxed you've ever been). If you walked away with the impression that some of those things didn't work on you, that DOESN'T mean you a) weren't hypnotized/in trance, b) can't be hypnotized, c) are bad at hypnosis and/or d) that you're incapable of experiencing certain hypnotic effects. It just means that those specific suggestions delivered in that specific way at that specific time might not have been as effective for you. When I was in high-school, we had a stage hypnotist come do a show, and I was one of the volunteers--and much to my utter disappointment, I was one of only two people that the suggestions didn't work on (the only other person it didn't work on had fallen asleep), so I went through 10 years of thinking hypnosis was real but I couldn't be hypnotized. Luckily, I was proven otherwise. The world of hypnosis is vast, we all experience it differently, and like any other skill, it can be developed over time. I'm not great a picturing things. I'm super analytical and suggestions re a multiplier on relaxation can cause more anxiety than relaxation (not so much anymore because I'm used to it/choose to interpret the suggestion differently). Additionally, there are many different types of suggestions and triggers that might come more naturally than others. For instance, when given the cloud suggestion, I didn't see a perfectly crisp/clear cloud and easily hold it in my mind's eye, but instead of focusing my attention on the fact that I couldn't see a concrete image, I focused on what that experience/headspace/feelings that description evokes, because I know I'm really good at manipulating my emotional state in trance (which is another thing you can do with hypnosis). In another video, there's a suggestion on keeping hands clasped together. There are many different ways to phrase that suggestion, and the more modalities/angles you throw at it, the better your chances of one of those suggestions sticking. For instance, if imagining super-glue between your hands or a magnet pulling them together doesn't work, you can try other suggestions like, "push your hands together as strong as you can, so strongly that you couldn't pull them apart even if you wanted to" or "see how good it feels to have your hands together, notice all of the different sensations between your fingers, how the heat and connection between them feels so good that you never want to pull them apart", or "the longer you hold your hands together, the deeper you go into trance, the more strongly they're held together", etc. Anywho, this ended up wwaayyyy longer than anticipated--apologies. Thank you for the great video!

Hi Guys. Something really strange happened while under (I successfully participated in the first session -- I have never been able to be hypnotized before !) While being directed to various body sensations didn't work more than 50% of the time for me, what might be classified under the curious column is that I felt a slight tingle under both feet. The only problem with that, is that I've had absolutely no tactile sensation under the soles my feet due to type 2 diabetes for the past 8 years.( don't worry guys, "it's" well under control now) It was a bit of a shock at first but it soon felt sooo good) :-)) Blessings our way.

I'd like to recommend changing some of the structure. For instance you say and when I clap my hands *you then clap* you're gonna feel xyz and at least for me I would need you to say and when I clap you willl feel xyz then clap. Not snapping or clapping before you've said what's going to happen. It then puts me in a suspension of yeah something is supposed to happen, but I don't know what until after you've done the action. Just something to think about :3

I’ve been a hypnotist for 20 years. I’ve hypnotized tens of thousands of people and lecture about hypnosis in universities and television. believe me if I do something a certain way; there’s a reason. In this case it’s an auditory anchor, and is far more effective overall than not clapping. Wether it’s effective on you or not is irrelevant on the grand scheme of things. Just something to think about
@moonw00002 жыл бұрын
@@SpideyHypnosis and I was giving a kind recommendation based on the way I have been hypnotized and giving you a perspective of someone different than the other people you’ve been hypnotizing and as someone who has been doing this for so long I’d assume you’d love to know the perspective of all kinds of minds to be able to drop even more people and understand other minds. Never said not to clap (I said not clapping “before” a “command” based around minds like mine. Another perspective) but the clap and snaps were placed in areas before the next thing to envision, do, feel etc that make minds like mine pause in an uncomfortable way waiting, but I guess you don’t understand or wish to. I was wrong to think youd want to understand other minds too when they come to you with comments of kindness. If it’s irrelevant that it works on me in the grand scheme of things then I’d wonder why posting the video would be relevant. You asked for us to let you know how it went, but my opinion and thoughts are “irrelevant”. Just something for you to think about. Good day

I was sitting on a very comfortable seat while experiencing your hypnosis. it was awesome. At the same time you were talking about the heat all around our body , what I felt was that my legs were breathing somehow they were expanding after each time of my breath in and out. All in all , even if it was too short ,I enjoyed it since after the hypnosis I felt very relaxed. thanks. I have really strong power in my mind which sometimes gives me the clue to know about some incidents which are about to happen. one of them was a few years ago when I was at the platform of a train station when I felt someone was about to jump off the platform and it happened a couple of hours later and I saw it. I don't know how and where to start my journey toward becoming a hypnotist just to help people to unblock some possible ordeals they might have gone through.

I did end up feeling the tingling on the bottom of my foot but that & the heat took a couple min for me to feel. Regarding The video above, I love how it merges psychological techniques for pain and stress reduction to produce a calming sense of self. Personally I prefer to develop a mental safe space where the sun fills a cup of joy in my core until the cup flows over, of when we breathe in the light and the joy, and the love, then breathe out the anger, resentment, and feelings of inadequacy,I would be very interested in seeing more of these videos.

This was neat. I only got warm. Then again a lot of factors go into long distance hypnosis I'm sure. Brainchild was really entertaining Spidey. 9/10. Thank you!

FINALLY GOT THE TIME TO TRY THIS OUT! Loved this video and it did kinda work on me. I did feel a very small tingle in my left foot and only my neck felt a slight warmth. Regardless, the experience was so incredibly relaxing and I loved it. Makes me so much more excited to learn hypnosis!! Keep up the great work Spidey:)

So I tried this for the first time about 6 months ago and it was kind of working but when he started talking about the heat I felt weird and opened my eyes ruining the whole experience. I just tried it again and it worked really well this time, I'm generally an extremely tense and anxious person and this was the first time in a very very long time I have felt truly relaxed. I think I might try this again but fully laying down to see what happens

Interestingly, the first video with the arms didn't really work for me, but with this one really sent me into a deep relaxation really fast. Obviously I felt the tingles and heat too, but the reaction felt amazing

I hoped this time to get deep into hypnosis but I wasn't into it. I just relaxed for 10 min(which by the way was very nice experience😊) Any tips on how I can let my brain take over my body easily? 😅
@SpideyHypnosis6 жыл бұрын
yeah. for some people this might just be a nice relaxing 10 minutes. And that's fine! Honestly, your best odds are to just keep trying. It might be a mood thing and at some point it might just work :)

SpideyHypnosis you mean keep trying and watching the video again and again until it works ? Maybe thats right cause ech time you retry it it will goo deeper in your mind I will make it works for sure 😎

SpideyHypnosis I feel like my subconscious mind never takes over. It’s like my brain will repeat everything you say so I never get relaxed. I swear my brain never shuts off. 😩

I felt tingling down my back & arms, very relaxed, however my neck started hurting half way through; I’m extremely sensitive to any noise (as a distraction) & I’m always extremely anxious, so as soon something becomes bothersome my brain misdirects my attention. I’ll even go so far from deep sleep to to wide awake, it’s not fun.
