I highly recommend watching reply 1988 and 1997 the 1997 version focuses more on romance while 1988 focused on family and neighbors relations I thoroughly enjoyed both, tho I enjoyed 1988 more since I watched it weekly with each ep release (I literally bawled my eyes out after the last ep because the drama and the cast felt like a family to me and there was nothing for me to wait for the next week) the 1994 version was quite repetitive after the 10th ep, didn't enjoy it as much

You could really see how he longed for his parents especially his mom while he was from them for quite a long time. Bobby and Hyeri's clips made me sad, but Jackson's clip completely broke me because I've seen how hard the guy works. He is sunshine and everyone's best cheerleader/hypeman, but he also left home and a promising career (he had a full scholarship to Stanford University) to pursue his dream. He worked his butt off in a foreign land, is now one of the biggest stars representing China on a worldwide stage. He is a singer, dancer, rapper, songwriter, CEO, fashion designer, MV director, and more. Behind all of that, he's also a filial son to his parents and has the biggest heart ever. It must have been so hard to be away from his parents for years, and I'll always be grateful to JYP for giving him this incredible Christmas gift.

xmas of 1983..I was in the US Air Force and had a choice of going to Malibu Beach 9 been there many times) or visiting my mom who I had not seen in a year. My last day before returning to my base my elder sister contacted me through the red cross saying Mother had died. 30+ years later my selfish act still bothers me. I am not sure why I left this comment.

with the hyeri clip, a similar thing happened to me. My grandad died just a few weeks ago now, and the day after his death, i had to go to school for reasons, and in my english class we started learning about writing poems with emotions, so my teacher said "think about sadness, and link it to something very personal to your life that had happened recently, now write what you are thinking on your paper" and i thought about my grandad who had passed away just the day before that, and i couldnt control my emotions at that moment so i had to step out of the classroom and i started crying but thankfully, when i went back into the room, my teacher said i didnt have to write anything like that😓😔

whenever I see the first clip, it was always cut to the part where Team A is crying while Team B performs and there isnt any subtitles for that so I didnt understand.. but now that I have watched Team B's performance, my heart broke for them.. for leaving their parents just to pursue their dreams even if they dont know if they'll succeed in the path they took.. Hyeri's was freaking heartbreaking.. it was so hard for her to act the scene when it just happened to her the day before.. the loss of a family member will forever haunt a person's heart.. and Jackson's clip never failed to make me cry.. it was so heartwarming to see him reunited with his family.. it felt like after all those years of longing, he has finally gained strength to continue with his career when he finally saw his parents again.. every clip was related to family and it really brings me to tears..

I cried the whole video, This shows that, Not everyone is care free, or regret free. They have family they had ti be with, but in order to have their dream. Or follow their dream. They have to leave family, the ones who do struggle the most, are the overseas idols. Having to leave your loved ones for your own dream. The first one explained it alot, The second one explained, You wont be able to see or hug or say i love you to your late loved one. And the third explained, that You'll be able to see family in a few years. The whole video explained the struggles of an idol.

I didn't watch all of the WIN survival show. But I remember Team B's Climax performance. I had accidentally come across it a year before their debut.And I cried. I was like wtf, I don't even know them. But because of that clip I can't help myself from supporting them. Hopefully they go on to become their own definition of success, hopefully they develop a color truly unique to them. iKON fighting!

Man I can relate to that moment where Jackson didn’t see his parents on Christmas trust me is tough my mom wasn’t with me from 3-8 so I was raise by my grandma and her twin sister and not having my mom and my dad with me on my birthday and seeing everyone else with their parents it would make me cry
