Try Odin mode on samsung gear fit 2 to reload firmware/software.

I had a Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro that was rebooting. I put it in Odin mode to charge it up and re-flash the firmware/software. The watch seemed stable in Odin mode, so I was able to charge it up by going into download(wireless) mode. The display remains on in this mode and it shows the battery level. I was able to fully charge and reload firmware/software to ensure that there was no corrupt files causing the problem.

Thanks for posting this.... I think it got me a step in the right direction on my Fit2 (SM-R360) ....Rather than a black screen - I now get a clock while on the charger. Sadly - that is coupled with a message: "Failed. If this problemm persists, visit a customer service centre. Restart". I also tried the combination firmware - and that seems to at least boot and let me test that the screen seemms to be ok. Guessing a replacement main board may be the easiest path forward.

hi, what happens to me is this: my gear fit 2 pro turns on, but after the samsung logo it turns off and does nothing more than have a black screen, I have tried in the reboot menu with the recovery, but it does not work either . With odin what I tried is to load the two firmwares, both the new and the old one and neither of them made my gear fit 2 pro run, any solution? :(

Sounds like a bad main board. I would look for a seller of a watch with a cracked screen and steel the guts for yours. Good luck with your repairs.

I am not sure, but it's worth a try if it's locked and you can't use it as is.

Reactivation lock is a setting on your phone. Click the Galaxy wearable app, hit the settings tab, Click find my gear. Reactivation lock is at the top. make sure it is off. Hope that helps, and thanks for watching.

Is it possible you have the wrong file for your watch? You can also try selecting download mode on the watch and use your charger connected to your computer to transfer the files. Same procedure as in the video just using the wired method instead of the wireless mode. Thanks for watching

Odin mode is for loading firmware if your device is acting up.

To be honest, I am not sure which is the latest. The firmware link in the description looks like it is from 2018, but it is an older product, so it may not get any more updates. The main reason for using Odin mode would be to repair a problem related to firmware, so you would want a stable version anyways. Once up and running, you can do an update to the latest greatest with your phone. Remember though.... The leading edge is the bleeding edge! ( Latest firmware may not be the best or most reliable)
