@@guitarnotions I got it as a 37 th birthday gift to myself. My birthdate is in the serial number. It got stuck at the border after 9/11. Had to wait almost a month for it to clear customs. Wore the frets out in 2 years. Still looks brand new and has a beautiful caramel color. Definitely one of my treasured children.

@@guitarnotions another story is when I went camping, all my electric guitars were stolen, no insurance. The first guitar I purchased after that was my Martin. I've built up my electric guitars now but play best on acoustic.

Using a capo can add much more. So C is a good tuning to explore a guitar.
