It is incredible how the gentleman with the white beard and yellow headdress COMPLETELY understands the song, his take on APL's verse was dead-on, without even knowing one word of the lyrics!! From the start, he also understood will.i.am's words and intention - again, without knowing one word of the lyrics!!! This man has such incredible insight, I'd love to know more about him. Another great video :)

Your videos have more meaning than probably even you (the crew) could realize at the beginning. I think time shows their wider meaning. Just what Muharam has said at the end of the video. "Where is the love" - great piece, thanks for reminding me about it. It's still actual.

I really enjoy observing the reaction of these distinguished gentlemen when they are introduced to elements that are not part of their culture. The way they evaluate what is presented makes me believe they are very wise. Please know that there are people in Brazil who admire you. May you be blessed in your lives!

What I learned from this reaction video is that we may all come from different places, & have different cultures, beliefs & history, but no matter where you live governments are all the same, nefarious entities using fear & force to control & subjegate humanity. I really appreciate the insight of Abdul, the joviality of Muharam, the logic of Mashoque & the amount of work that Adnan does to create these videos in the first place. Adnan must have to listen to the songs countless times to get the translations, while the others only hear it once, then he has to do all the background research on the song & band, then he has to record the sessions with the others, then he has to do all the video editing, subtitles & uploading, then he has to deal with youtube strikes after spending all his time to make these videos. I don't think many people realize the amount of time used & work done to create a 15min reaction video. Respect to you all. P.S. Could you do a reaction to Blue October - Hate Me? It is quite a sad song with very deep lyrics but if you fancy something more uplifting then Blue October - Fear is the way to go.

Thank you for giving credit where credit is due, and yes, he puts a lot of time and study into bringing us these amazing videos. I found this channel several years ago, and I was so happy to see people like the many Islamic immigrants who moved to my city circa 1980 presented truthfully! My Texas hometown is known as the "Telecom Corridor" because of the many high tech companies headquartered there. All those high tech jobs attracted highly educated workers from all over the world, many from the Middle East. A mosque was built two blocks from my house, and I enjoyed hearing the morning prayer calls. I also enjoyed getting to know the new neighbors in our 'hood who were Asian, African, and Mid-Eastern. My father's job meant that he spent months at a time on those continents and he enjoyed learning about different cultures. I loved hearing his stories of dining with native peoples because he was a foodie who would try anything, he even ate Witchetty grubs with Aussie aborigines a people he admired very much for their musical and artistic skills. My mom was biracial, and grew up in an orphanage, so she also taught me to love people for their hearts and minds, and that "race" is a human construct. She was a Christ I was a lucky kid who hit the lottery when I got those two as parents. I wish every child could grow up being taught love instead of hate. As a great man once said: _"The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice."_ MLK also said: _"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that."_ and: _"The time is always right to do what is right."_ and, of course: _"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly."_ Letter from Birmingham, Alabama jail, April 16, 1963.

It’s very encouraging every time I see different cultures from around the world are aware that they are lied to by the government through the mainstream media. Due to that you cannot judge the people based on their crooked government. There’s nothing wrong with love and respect of your own personal heritage and culture at the same time respect everyone else’s differences while realizing deep down we’re all the same. We’re all children of the Supreme Creator. Love to All

I absolutely LOVE your set! I'm a professional artist and tailor who has loved beautiful textiles all my life. The intricate geometric patterns should remind us that Mathematics and Astronomy sciences were first developed by the Sumerians. The ancient Sumerians lived in southern Mesopotamia, which is in present-day Iraq. Thank you for bringing these friends to us, so that we can get to know more about their lives and families. There is much to love about these tribal people and their love of tradition and sense of justice. I've learned from this channel that my brothers and sisters from this part of the world feel the same love for family and home that I do, and that we are far more alike than different. BTW, I'm hearing this song for the first time too, and I really love it. I was expecting the old 70s song called "Where Is The Love?" by Roberta Flack, and though it's a lovely tune it should be offensive to any person of faith since it promotes cheating on one's marriage partner. I'm glad it's a different song with a better message!

I really like this one. Watching this I kept telling myself do they understand just how deep this concept is , everything which has happened and yet to happen over the course of a lifetime in this connected world society. Example after example ..politics,economics,survival,grief,growth...on and on. But then...that's why it's so important this simple songs existence. Everything transpired to get us to this moment for better or worse. Halfway across the world, over the globe...different time, different place but still this concept built into all of us regardless of instruction and the sins committed between... Just Keep Looking for Love.👍

@MiscBainsАй бұрын
What's a waste of time is you being negative when we're literally uniting cultures here, creating something positive in our tiny corner of the world. Why make yourself upset, so upset that you were impelled to take time out of your day to make a comment on a video you dislike, especially when there are thousands of things you can do to be a little happier or feel better? Please go enjoy your life, friend.
@revangerangАй бұрын
Literally nothing in the world is a waste of time. But especially not learning about a quite popular track that's ONLY a few decades old. Do you think people should only pay attention to what is right in front of their face, and not even wonder how it got there, let alone all the factors that led up to that? You are very strange.
