The bms may be defective, the cell batteries inside may not be fully charged evenly .You need to check this manually

this occurred for me, i did try to manually charge each cells using a transformer adaptor that's set to 3v 300mA. currently each cell is around 3.2v and it still shows this error

Spark batteries don't need to be stripped down out of their covers. I just connect the pins to their corresponding connections on the battery and CP2112 board and use a standard 12v 1.5A charger with the optional green adapter with separate positive and negative connections and connect from there to the negative and positive pins on the LHS facing next to the SCL pinout. Using DJI_Battery_Killer_ver.0.4beta_26.09.2021 (which I know will work), connect and keep refreshing every 5 minutes or so to make sure the cells balance their charge, and when over 3v, disconnect all cables and connect to Spark and charge will carry on from there.

Hi I used this method to revive my mini 2 battery. But every time I leave it out for a few mins the battery gets locked and I’m having to clear PF/PF2 again, is this expected? It only had 1 battery cycle. One of the batteries is 1v lesser than the other even at full charge. Any suggestions will be appreciated

The battery cells alone are 4.2v on full charge. We charge all the cells are chargers to bring them to the same level.mini Charging module does this.

Sorry for the late reply. The cells in the battery must be at the same voltage. You need to manually upgrade them to the same voltage. Otherwise, you will constantly have problems or if you have not used it for a very long time, one of the cells in the battery may be damaged, you will not know until you try. But there is one thing you know: the cells inside the battery need to be equal to the same voltage.
