I farm vorkath but I do mahogany homes because it’s simply more fun than traditional construction training. I like that it saves me some money and isn’t as soul crushing. It’s a role playing game, if anybody tells you that you’re playing the game wrong, tell them to shove it. Screw the meta, do what you think is best for you

The single thing i don't like is that the Outfit doesn't give a bonus exp for the final exp drop at the end of the contract, only the little exp ones from repairing things, i think it should boost the final exp as well . Nice video btw, it seves as a great guide

For those of you who are going for the 99, here are a couple of swap outs I did that you might prefer. (If you have them): Jewlery Box - Ditch Falador Tab & just use the Home Tab and left click the jewlery box to go to Falador Park (May need to adjust RL Menu Entry Swapper) Diary Cape - I have the Diary cape equip, as it works for 2 functions. 1. I use (2:) Desert: Jarr for banking 2. I use (D:) Varrack: Toby instead of Varrock Tabs. This is closer to the South, and only a short distance further from the North one. This is just personal preference, but I like that I can save myself an additional 2 inv spaces with next to no penalty. Yes, you'll have to run an a couple of extra tiles for bank compared to crafting cape, and same for North Varrock house. But this is negligible for the 2 inv trade off. If your Jewlery Box is close to the home tele, this is actually quicker than Fally Tab anyways. Hope this helps :)

I got the plank sack and outfit, but then didn't touch construction anymore since I don't really enjoy training it. I used all the teleports in my house (portal nexus, jewellery box, xerics talisman) and almost anytime I got a contract where I passed a bank I just quickly restocked.

Nice vid THC! Direct info on the method I was considering using! Since it's not mentioned, a main reason to do Mahogany Homes is the unique rewards. Using Mahogany planks, it should cost about 16m+13hrs to get all of the equippable rewards, or 28m+24hrs to unlock all rewards including the blueprint.

i really dont think npc contact method is that much faster , since i was ironboi without tabs i did it by teleporting to falador instead , it only take 3 seconds or so to reach her for a new contract , saves 3 inventory spaces, and you have a bank nearby to restock and sometimes you get the falador house which also saves time

In 60 to 70% of cases the agent is pretty close to get new contracts, its better use the standart book for teleports

NPC Contract is definitely faster the vast majority of the time. In those few times that an Estate Agent is closer, I do think you should run to them tho. You can still run Contracts at a good rate without NPC Contact but I really recommend using it over not.

I did teak contracts to get the outfit and plank sack (~83) and then decided to get 99. Honestly I didn't enjoy either mahogany homes or building things in my house, initially I bought oak planks (~70m) to train with dungeon doors but then realised how much I hated it and replaced the oaks with mahogany planks (~130m) to get 99 as quickly as possible. I hated both methods more than, for example, vorkath, so it was simply ineffecient for me train this way. Doing mahogany homes all the way, if you can actually stomach it, is a pretty good way to train, nice video.

I put 50 as a recommendation for Adept Contracts. You can do any level contract you want but I think being at least level 50 is the best time to start running Contracts based on where your account is going to be.

@@oddone1325 I found an alternative (and better) way to do it.. As long as you have the menu entry swapper, you can customize the UI for any item/npc/spell/interaction yourself. Shift + rick click on the NPC contact and there should be an option towards the bottom to switch left click and shift click options.

If you really don't want to spend much, or don't mind a longer route, lvl 70 contracts are decent. For people who can't do top tier PvM , I'd say Mythical capes are a better option since if you're able to make 600k+ gp/hr, they save you both time and money since the method is almost 2x faster and you'll be done with the grind a lot sooner. The Maths: Extra cost for MMC: 56.8 - 48.9 = 7.9m gp ---------- Time saved doing MMC: 31.3 - 17.8 = 13.5 hrs Gp/hr needed to do MMC over lvl 70 contracts: 7900K / 13.5 = 585k gp/hr

Why the Chronical Book and no Tablets? Construction Outfit for sure over Graceful, since you can completely refill run energy after every contract. You can set your Varrock Teleport to the GE or the town center, depending on what you're doing too btw.

@@TryHardCasual im not the only one doing with these, the chronical is because the my varrock teleport is at ge, i think there is a house at south of varrock close to the zamorak church/mage that is usefull using that book for me. Thinking about now maybe should be usefull to change that varrock teleport from ge when i do those mahogany homes, i have to study that. Gracefull is usefull if you have low agility, since you may be tired before reaching the house even with the tea, (well, maybe i was just a noob running around without knowing the real location of those houses lol). Maybe replace the chronical with that book that teleport you to hosidius, dont remember the name of it, or use the woodcutting guild teleport from skills necklace, to reach the house in south of hosidius. I have my house in hosidius... With your rune pouch full you can teleport to all the places, except hosidius, with the standart book, i just use the air staff because i can use cheaper runes for teleports instead of one expensive, dust and lava runes are cheap, other combination runes are expensive.

It’s a hard sell for it take 32 hours versus oak dungeon doors at 14 hours. It still costs 49 mil so the majority of people who are going from 90-99 construction and are ready to drop 50mil are probably comfortable to drop 70mil. Even Ironmen at that point probably worth it. I like mahogany homes because it doesn’t hurt my hands. I can’t believe they got rid of left click build in regular house. It doesn’t even make construction faster just easier and save my hands. But I’m also not gonna get skills to super high level. My limit is 90 for fun skills. 80 for fast skills and 70 for slow ones…as soon as the time per level starts crossing like 3-5 hour mark I’m done with the skill. I normally really like the videos opinion but not this one. I think your opinion makes sense but focusing on 90-99 construction is when mahogony homes really drops off. I just don’t think people are getting 99 con with 200-250 mil banks…it’s usually much higher.
