Pete I deal with that same crap everyday it seems like, because before I can get one thing fixed, something new decides to fall apart, and I never catch up with any of the major repairs I need to. So it ends up everything gets a bandaid on it with the intention of getting back to it after I get other things straightened out the right way. Only so far that's hasn't been the case, because I still have one thing after another constantly taking a dump on me. Example, bought a 110 gallon sprayer to spray my pasture for major invasive weed that is literally choking my grass out completely, well first after buying the spray rig, and the chemicals the clutch goes out in my tractor. Time I get the parts in, several weeks later, it's dormant, and doesn't do any good to spray. Ok spring time I'll spray, but it rains nonstop until clover comes up in several places so that I am better off waiting until it dies out. Then it starts raining again, to the point that I will leave ruts in the pasture. Then the water pump goes out, and couple weeks later it's repaired but the weeds are fully matured and flowered. So the seeds have dropped, and so I cut it with shredder to make it start over with new foliage so that the herbicide can do its job. Well now the hydraulic system decided to go out on the three point lift system, and I can't pick up the weight of the spray rig to spray. It's not one thing it's another, and it's been going on nonstop for more years than I want to remember. But even at my age you can't submit to letting shit beat you down, because once you surrender you're finished. You'll never catch up to everything is my opinion, and I can't stand to lose to illogical BS, something has to give long enough to at least get close enough to catching up to be able to breathe a few days without constantly feeling like you have dealt with all the trials and tribulations you can handle. What doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger in the end my young friend. Don't sweat the small things, 😢don't fight the things you can't change, simply deal with it one day at a time, and eventually you will overcome leaving it all in the past

Pete I had my 372 run like that a month or so ago and the magnet was just a little bit loose. When the saw idled down from running hard it would quit.

Pete, I’m sure I speak for others, but I’d love it if you could do a tutorial on plunge cutting. Like what tricks and techniques you’ve learned over the years. Common mistakes. Different ways or styles of releasing the triggers. What side to start on when considering lean. What species to plunger the heart. What bar length (light or stiff) you recommend. When chase cutting is more appropriate for felling firewood, advantages and disadvantages. Stuff like that. You do it so effortless and make it look easy, but I know it’s not. Maybe you have in the past and I haven’t seen it. I do remember a video of you explaining why you plunge cut. I know you’re not really a tutorial KZbinr, but I think the internet could benefit from your input on this subject. Anyway, thanks, and I hope you have a better day tomorrow. I was about to throw a finish nailer out a window today, so I get the frustration when equipment breaks down on you. The body, too. Slipped a disc this week for the first time in my life. Not pleasant at all. Cheers, mate.

It is hot here in Pa for October, but I’m not complaining because I’ve got three more exteriors to get painted before the wether breaks and the snow flies. We’re due for a hard winter. Last year, I only plowed my drive once. I bet fall and spring is the best time to cut timber, eh? Certainly the best time to be in the woods.

X torq or X turd have been bad since they came out.I switched over to a husky 390 for a few years until 572 come out. Awesome reliable saw. However now i have a husky 592.the husky 592 puts all other saws to shame in large hardwood timber.

Howdy Nuts319!! Sounds like you are ready for a few days at the show and out of the thorn patch! I think you got some dirt in the tank or carb. It seemed to run pretty good upright...It just starved for fuel when flipped on her side.Maybe you will get lucky and it will go one through!Thanks for the video, Pete!👍👍

Some jobs are just like that. You just can't seem to catch a break. Bad trees, bad ground, hard on equipment and hard mentally. Only thing I know how to do is put your head down and push through till the next job. It's hard when nothing is going the way you want and your not making any money. Just a bad combination. Hang in there man and keep swinging or in our case cutting

Pete...Great video and I can appreciate the unseasonally warm weather here on the East Coast! Sounds to me like your low-end metering needs adjustment/cleaned. You say "It's drinking the fuel" but it sounds a lot like it is starving for fuel in the cut. Since a lot of fuel comes from the low end adjustment and that is what allows it to idle smoothly that is where I would look first. Do you carry an extra bar and chain for those cases where you can't get the "Big Yellow Wedge" to push a tree over and free up your saw.
@nuts319 Жыл бұрын
I don’t I usually can get it with either a wedge, or the big yellow wedge
