Hi !! I’m from Paris, and when I started ballet again at 26, Alexandre was my teacher, he actually tried his method on his students aka me !! I just love him, he’s so intelligent and so sweet. He is forever grateful for his first students who trusted him and his method ❤

What an innovative way for Barre. I totally agree with you MacKenzie. Both professional and even student dancers need to do this kind of Barre to maintain spinal health. I hope your spine is OK too

Hi there I've watched you over the years and chucked profusely over your funny vlogs. Just wanted to say I'm sorry you're hurting but not only are you beautiful and talented but very smart. I'm sure the process of recovery will not only make you a better dancer (quote unquote!) but a brilliant teacher. Like Zena Rommet used to say: goo' gurl, goo' gurl!

Do you think it is being in parallel that makes you feel “more on your leg”? I come from a jazz background ( 80s and 90s style). Dancing on turned out feet is so unstable for me. I have a naturally great turnout. But i feel like I’m trying to balance on a razor’s edge when turned out! I cannot seem to find my balance. Parallel is soooo much more steady and “on my leg”. Anybody else notice this? Solutions?

I think it's really good that this man reviewed the art of ballet closely and was able to develop a way to train more healthily. Maybe ballet used to be a better paid job, but I feel like more people in this time want to train a certain sport/art vigorously. Children's mobility is changing and they need to learn how to involve their muscles to prevent injury. I hope this method will come to ballet schools, from a young age.

Hey Mackenzie, I like the current you. The way you talk and act are so compose and mature now, no more girlie expressions. Your face pimples are almost gone too. Stay slim and keep dancing. Love ya always.
