Thank you for this refreshing and wholesome video! Love the subtitles by the way. My favourite moments 5:31 The colours remind me of a raining city 9:05 Such vibrant colours! I think your works look greatest when they are "unfinished". The colours started to blend in but also remain independent, and they are captured in lively movement. If you mix them too much, trying to fill out the whole canvas, they will inevitably turn into a dull muddy colour. But then, it is equally delightful to see the lower layers peep out when you scrape off the paint on top. I also noticed the sneaky progress bar in your thumbnail picture, that is quite genius!

I'm no expert but I think the sludgy colour comes from overmixing. When you mix paint from different sides of the colour wheel it tends to go swampy brown. I guess you were so determined to coat each canvas all the way to the edges that the colours in the middle all mixed together a bit more? This looked fun!! I kind of wanna try this now but I don't want to accidentally get acrylic paint on my uni carpet and I feel like that would be inevitable for me 😄

God I've missed your videos!! This is one art form I've never tried before 😂 but the muddy colour is from too much wet paint at once from my painting experience! It would be better to start off with less paint and use that then let it dry a bit before going in with some more! I've never had the muddy issue with acrylics before because I don't use a lot at once but I do with oil paint and that's one way to help from my experience

Awesome video! This was so satisfying to watch. My favourites were the ones with the pink and blue square and the fiery one. Fantastic stuff.

So what's the difference between those paintings and the ones getting sold for hundreds of millions in auctions around the world? None~ As an art enthusiast myself, (mostly leaning towards comic book style stuff in my case) it is always fun to see other people have fun with painting, I'm no stranger to getting my hands all dirty with paint XD, it has been however a looong time since I've used an actual canvas, lately it's either paper or digital haha. Painting can often be like science, it's trial and error that builds experience, it's always "what if I do it this way?" , "what if I use this color" , or "what if I hold my brush like this?" among other questions, it's just fun to play around with imo ^-^
