What's not to like? 😋 £56.24 from Master of Malt at the moment. To swirl, or not to swirl? What are your thoughts?

Oh interesting question! I do it subconsciously, but I am a fidgeter so anything like that brings me great joy. I don’t tend to do it as much though when I’m sat with a dram at home and not filming. I think it’s probably a good thing to do with freshly opened bottles and neck-pours to try and free up some of those notes, but otherwise probably not needed.

New Subscriber from Florida. Watched a few videos and now I’m a new Subscriber. Been across the Pond several times staying in London, Suurrey, Clay Cross, Sheffield, Robin Hood’s Bay, and enjoyed real Fish and Chips and Lunch and a Beer or 2 at The Peacock near Bakewell. Enjoyed some Fantastic UK brews from The Malt Shovel, Tetley House, The Turnpike and a many others. I did enjoy Theakston Old Peculier in The UK and Double Diamond🍺🍺🍺Also big fan of Bourbon 🥃 Cheers… 11:14

Just an update on Theakston Old Peculiar, I finally heard back from the New York importer and Wholesaler @ Iron Horse Beverage and soon fingers crossed will be in Florida, like I mentioned Theakston was in the US from 1976-2013, and was in Miami for a short Shelf Life and then Gone…Cheers 🥃🍺

Sorry in advance if I tap wrong letters and numbers on keyboard, I never claimed to be a Typo expert, any who, I was in my local Liquor Store and the Manager recommended Traveler Whiskey 🥃, a blended Whiskey from Buffalo Trace Distillery, so I got something else on my to do list, 🥃

I’m sure it’ll become more common, it’s very much a selling point in Scotch at the moment so wouldn’t be surprised if it goes the same way!

Great video! I’ve wanted to try this for ages and you may have just convinced me to pull the trigger. This may sound a bit strange but I wouldn’t mind seeing this compared to Jameson black barrel, a bit weird I know with one being a Irish whisky finished in sherry barrels and the other a bourbon finished in port barrels, but for some reason I find that quite compelling 😂.

Ye don’t overspend on the black barrel a lot of the time it’s going for around £40 but usually comes down to £25 in the sales. Lovely dram though Irish whiskey aged in ex bourbon barrels then finished in sherry barrels, very different!

I have been tempted by their rye, but then wasn’t sure as I believe it’s a MGP product that Angel’s Envy just finish?

@@TheCrumbyBeard Oh I didn't realize that. Good to know. I am mainly a peated scotch lover so I source excellent scotch for the most part but I know less about Bourbon and Rye! Cheers!

@@TheCrumbyBeard I totally agree! I try to research and check out whisky before paying a lot for different spirits. It's awful to just grab something because "it looks like a lovely bottle" but open it and realize it's been a big waste and especially as prices for whisky rise so much. Prices are getting insane!

I prefer their Rye that's been finished in caribbean Rum casks

It's similar to Ben Holladay Bottled in Bond. I think the Ben Holladay is better though. Angels Envy is just too light on the abv and taste.
