I love to listen to you. I'm a nurse about to retire and Panama is on top of the list. When I was there we bought chichemi from the stand and it was so busy there. It was delish. Don't buy that kind. Better you buy the corn and sugar vanilla cinnamon nutmeg carnation and make it yourself. 🎉❤

You're right. The texture did not do it for me. I'm gonna try to blend and strain the corn and give it another try, but I'm afraid I would not be able to call it "Chicheme" 😃

I m Panamanian and I never like chicheme, I don't like to much corn. But I blend the chicheme and is how i love it.

@ the other drink you mention might be “Ron ponche” which has some rum, unlike the ponche crema. Saludos y buen día!
