Dude, in mexican cuisine we do use vegetables for tacos: cilantro, onion and even pineapple (for tacos al pastor), the salsas we do are all vegetable based. That lettuce you could have saved it for some enmoladas (mole enchiladas) and the tomato is used for pico de gallo and guacamoles, why did you threw that away?

The vegetables are mainly cabbage and carrots which add a nice crunch without taking away from the smoky flavor of the chicken and the salsa. The Cilantro crema compliments the fresh lime cut into quarters for you to squeeze on them. My opinion is that if you have a family and feel pressed for time or exhausted and not wanting to put the effort into making something yourself. These pre cooked tacos would be a great dinner idea. Good quality of ingredients for the price. I think for me it was roughly $1.60 per taco, making around 10-12 tacos in each meal. If you shop there try them out next time you want chicken tacos. They are good!

Follow these steps next time: 1. Splash of oil and start searing chicken on medium heat 2. Cover for 3-5 min so you won’t have cold chicken spots when eating 3. Break down the big chunks with spatula as it cooks for another 4-5 min 4. Move the chicken over to one side of pan and put 3 tortillas down to soak up the seasoning and toast up, 5. Add cheese to tortillas and chicken after. 6. Add veggies, more cheese and green sauce with lime at the end
