hmm i dont think it is the oldest rollercoaster i Denmark i think the one at Bakken is older, but as a dane i should know this, i dont :) I love Tivoli, but expensive, so i dont go there much, i live like 100 km away from Copenhagen. i hope you liked my small contry, i do, will never leave :)

The roller coaster in Tivoli is from1914 and the one on Bakken is from 1932! The one on Bakken is the most scary!

The key is "wooden rollercoaster" And the one in Tivoli is the oldest in the Europe. Bakken is the oldest themepark in the world though.

@@NickAndMeish .. The good thing about Bakken (The Hill) in the outskirts of Copenhagen, is that it has free entrance, so you only pay for the rides. It opened in 1583, so it's also the by far oldest amusement park in the world .

Tivoli and gasoline grill are Only for tourists . Though myself i have a vip card .also platinum card. To tivoli gardens ca ßince I worked there ...soo I have seen famous singers for free

Absolute nonsense that those are only for tourists! Tivoli is very much a place many danes visit on the regular or at least multiblw times in their life. Gasoline grill have branches that wouldn't survive if it were only tourists getting their food there.

Christiania is not self governing , they are under Danish laws just like the rest of us, since 1972 where hippies and drug addicts moved into the abandoned military area, there have been discussions about removing them from time to time, but there haven't been a majority for it , some years ago the people living there agreed with the government on buying some of the area for a symbolic sum, not sure if they are done with payments, police raid the area quite often and not long ago the area where they sell drugs were closed down by the people living there and the police because there have been more violence lately, the people there don't want hard drugs to be sold there and it's illegal, there will continue to be raids, and in a part of the area there will be build new apartments ordered by the government.
