when i first got my iPad and was binge-watching goodnotes vs. notability videos, i downloaded concepts and fell in love with it for art bc its just so fun and free, but ive never really thought to use it for diagrams for notes! definitely gonna try this out

Awesome vid! Just wanted to say that Concepts looks amazing and seems like it has so much potential, especially for those in creative subjects (like you said), I feel like it would be perfect for students who take Architecture and Product Design. THE FREEDOM OF IT! Also, I think the limitless feature is cool in the sense that you shouldn’t care too much about neatness, more about your ability to think and develop even better ideas.

I've been using Notes Writer for the past 3 months and I love it. Best free app in my opinion. The ads only apear when you are in the "main" menu, once you are taking notes there are no ads on the paper. The pages are A4 and the dotted ones and the mini squares are great tbh. You can slip view inside the app it self with the notes you want or you can split view with other apps. The number of notebooks is limited in the free version so I just have a bunch of notes on the menu and when I finish them I put them in google docs on the correct folder and delete them from the app. I also use a digital planner on the app and the hyperlinks are just as good.

My favorite note taking apps are Samsung notes, one note... And I am in love with concepts now thank you Janice do u think you could do a separate video showing everything you can do on concepts note taking app plsss I am soo happy I was able to find it on the Google play store ❤️😂

Hey, I'm pretty sure the large square template in Noteswriter is for writing kanji, hanzi, hanggul, and other languages that do not use the standard alphabet

I’ve used Notes Writer for years, starting with the free version but quickly upgrading to the premium. So worth it. I import PDFs, images, manuals, almost anything I need. As far as the paper sizes, they are standard 8.5x11 as far as I know.

btw in the concepts app you can change the page size, so if you didnt like the idea of infinite paper, you can adjust it however you like!

My school use OneNote, which is a free app and is more like noteability or something then good notes and you can do a lot of things you should checkout ❤️☺️

I've been using flexcil standard version for 3 months now and I swear it's worth every penny! It's not expensive though, but if you're hesitant to spend, don't worry at all!! If you're someone who has lots and lots of pdfs to read, you wanna underline or annotate it, or even take notes side by side, this app is completely phenomenal! I must say, everyone should check this out 🔥

actually, i use motes writer and there are smaller paper options and I love how you can change the scheme from light, dark and neutral overall it is really nice and yes the cover pages are trash! lol

For notes writer for paper just choose new template and theres a lot of paper templates and for organization u can create a folder then in a folder you can make another folder on it and make custom folder covers so its technically a good alternative to goodnotes

I'm investing my money on goodnotes because back then I don't know about other great free apps but I don't regret it tho. For the arts, I don't purchase the procreate because I think that it will be a waste if I rarely use it. Thank you for letting me know about a substitute for that.

I haven’t used this app, but I have seen people using it on videos like this, I don’t think it was that bad, you should try it, it is called metamoji note lite! and some people also use the simple app notes! Hope this helped with more apps!!☺️

I’m working with noteswriter and I have to say, that the different papers really are limited but you can choose the different papers from the samples and then work with them. In the beginning its a bit tricky but if you also work with files (the app from apple) its pretty easy and you have more possibilities. Just wanted to say that for those people who don’t want to install good notes. but thank you for the video it was really informing and i liked it

To be honest in reality you should just try and save for GoodNotes because for £7 it will really really help you out - so unless you are extremely tight of money it’s definitely the best option

I am in search of good note taking app for windows. I stumbled across 'Concepts' for windows. Apart from sketching I thought that it would be a good note taking tool too. But on windows version of Concepts doesn't come with watercolor so no highlighting 😕
