When I clicked on this video, I had no idea that it was one of your earlier tapes. After listening to it for a few minutes, I realized that it was, the famous, SHERRY MOULTON! I have the ability to remember faces and voices, but not names. So, in that way, Sherry, I'm special too. I've followed you for a year+. Love your videos. Sorry to hear of your husband and your deep freeze. I'm sure you'll make a ver cool 'cup' holder for your hubby.

tip from one artist to another: try using plastic bottles with little nozzle caps- they come in all different sizes and when youre done you just remove the caps turn them upside down and let the resin drip out, and peel it out after it has cured then you can reuse them and you wont be using and throwing away so many plastic bags. beautiful effect by the way!

Hey, sherry I am new to this field of resin art. Please explain few things if possible- 1 where we use pigments? 2 where we use alcohol ink? 3 where we use mica powder?
@SherryMoulton4 жыл бұрын
I'm kinda new as well learning as I'm going lol. You can use any them anytime and I even mix them together. I find the mica power usually gives a non transperant colour. The alcohol is used when you want a little bit of colour. I also use acrylic paint when I want a solid colour. I think pigments are matt and the mica powders a shimmery. I hope this helps.🥰 Thanks for watching 🥰🇨🇦

In another video you mentioned that the reason you got such a beautiful flower effect this time is probably because you heated the resin, how much did you heat it and for how long?
@SherryMoulton4 жыл бұрын
Thanks sooooo much and thanks for watching. Yes actually it has to do with leaving your resin set for a bit. I now leave my resin set for 15 min before I start piping the white and it makes a huge difference. Once its piped you can use the heat gun to move it around but not for long. Hope this helps 🥰🥰🥰🇨🇦
