The first place Uncle Remus. The chicken sounded so crispy, and great that it wasn't oil at all! You can never go wrong with coleslaw YUM!!! Awesome this place has been around since the 60's.. we always love nostalgic places!!

Wow, that fried chicken looked great! The chicken from both places was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. That mild sauce definitely sounds amazing. It's incredible how mixing things together can create something amazing! And Maria is right: that is Chicago poutine, haha! Now I am intrigued about the Harold's lemon pepper. Harold's chicken wing looks good too with those sauce coated on it. I've always love fried chicken, besides the local fried chicken, fast food chains I love that are available here are KFC and Texas Chicken (I think it's known as Church's Chicken in the US).

I’m not gonna lie , when I go there I definitely treat myself and don’t come to play . I get like 75 piece chicken wings and like 6 pizza puffs with fries and eat every bit of it in less than an hour or so . Definitely worth every penny , like you guys were saying . I live all the way in Champaign , Illinois and wouldn’t mind driving all the way out that way there again to get a taste of that good food . Glad you guys liked it . Santos Clan is Team Harold’s Chicken Shack. I discovered it when I was in college at NIU. We prefer the hot sauce. I swear those chicken are on super steroids. We go to Harold’s at least a couple times a month and one of our go to’s. I was so surprised they put the hot sauce on tue fries also. Plus the pleasant surprise of white bread in the bottom. Uncle Remus's mild sauce is better than Harold's Chicken in my opinion. But both have great chicken to eat. Harold's Chicken also has more locations across the country in different states. Hollywood, CA., Phoenix, AZ, Henderson, NV and Atlanta, GA.
