Hey man watched some of your videos. I Moved to Panama City a bout 2 years ago. Fish almost every weekend or during the week after work on my skiff. Would love to meet up one day.

Try fishing in crooked creek with a popping cork. It is in west bay just look up the coordinates.

just for your safety I would always use pliers to get hooks out, talking from experience learned the hard way

Like the other commenter mentioned-crooked creek. The only place I fish in west bay, and don't even hit west bay really. There's a good boat ramp on 388 near the airport-if you're good at backing a trailer. I'd suggest only going towards west bay from there and not up the creek, stumps and channels need to be learned before doing that. You can set in at 79 bridge but I'm not a fan of that ramp. Between the air boats hogging the ramp and the shallow conditions, due to barges pushing wakes full of sand near the ramp, it can be unpleasant.

Way up crooked creek is great for trout during the winter

@@surfsidefishingandoutdoors If way up includes the 388 bridge area, it's good trout and red fish year around-but they do pile up through the cold months. Kayaking or good with a flats boat there's marshes that can be gotten in to, opening up, fishing is great in them. Mullet get so thick it looks like you could walk across them. Netted a load in 1 throw of the net before.
