Trying Not To Interfere With Members Qualifying On This Grid 342 Visit to TeamSport Eastleigh

Whilst down on holiday I jumped into a #grid 342 ‪@TeamSportKarting‬ Eastleigh! I've got 45 minutes of hopefully pretty clear running - I just don't want to annoy any members that might be trying to set their ‪@BIKC‬ qualifying times!

Some of your commentary on this has got some technical errors but besides that, very very enjoyable content again rob 🔥🔥 whats your initial feeling with the electric karts in comparison to petrol? Havent been out in the electric ones yet.

Yes, something has gone wrong once processed by KZbin. I've tried reuploading but it still happens 😤 Thanks! I definitely prefer petrol. These are lighter and I think it makes it feel like less of an experience. I'm certainly not as exhausted after a session in these as I am the petrols. Definitely something to experience though, even if only once! 😂 The obvious is missing the too - the noise, the vibrations, the smell!

@@RobGoesRacing this was my fear :( even watching on board from various tracks the karts don't look or feel as quick/dramatic.. I'm heading to Liverpool tonight and as many times as I can over the next few weeks before they refurb it.. thanks Rob

Woken up to see over 1000! A lot sooner than expected! 🎉 I don't like them as much. They miss a bit of the excitement. I can't put my finger on exactly what, but I'm guessing the sound/vibrations etc.

The main hold up on your times here would be the entrance at uphill hard left. When following the faster cars you would turn in early on ramp like needed allowing for the drag of the car to help slow down and keep weight balanced. The other I would say was entrance to the chicane to the sweeping left downhill. Setups like these can be very tricky. If you watch the faster karts they are entering earlier and hugging as tight as possible to the right wall. Reason is so they can apex tight to the left and allow the kart to turn itself as they start to straighten the corner. The tricky part is we see the left ahead and want to stay turning in more than needed. Otherwise for a first go on a track like this very solid run.
