You'd have a right to be ! I sell on NZs second hand selling website Trade Me, And it seems crazy to me that anyone would sell something without mentioning it's been altered, even if it's a highly competent professional alter, it can still be an issue with sizing for example, if you put 4 darts in a skirt to fit yourself, suddenly the dimensions might not be a conventional size and that'll suck for the next person who buys it assuming it is a conventional size

I've just found your channel, so I don't know if this is a duh for you or not. Please forgive me if you totally do/know this already! Your Bonne Chance dress at 23:36 is adorable but is CRYING for a slip and a fluffy petticoat. The full length slip will stop the wrinkles around the waistline. The fluffy petticoat will improve/fulfill the shape of the skirt, giving it a more bell-like silhouette and making it swing the way it was meant to do. But judging from the way it hangs on you without those undergarments it is...pretty but... not quite living up to its potential. I suggest white or even deep pink for the petticoat. Or you could layer a white one AND a deep pink one. The little flash of color or lace at the hem as it moves would be perfect.

Maybe, but it might make the fabric pucker... it’s a vintage knit and doesn’t have any elastic fibers in it so it doesn’t behave like a normal modern knit that would normally contain spandex to help it hold it’s shape so I gotta see what I can do with the drape

1:42 3:53 21:27 I think these items I listed looked really bad on you and would definitely sort them out. Not meant to be rude, I think you're beautiful and cute, but we all have certain pieces that compliment us and some that don't... I'm a fashion consultant and think I know some stuff about that topic, so I just wanted to give my personal opinion to this. However, the most important thing is how YOU feel about your clothes and what makes YOU comfortable. 24:43 - You should definitaly keep that one as it looks super cute on you! The logo isn't so bad at all, you could also put a patch over it :) 8:08 - you should alter this a bit, I think it fits too loose and adds on a lot of unflattering volume. Agreed on all the other decisions you made! Keep up with what you do, you're unique and sweet and most importantly less mainstream and capitalist than most kawaii-spectrum youtubers. I can't look at most of them anymore, but you're like a breath of fresh air! Also, I totally agree on your values concerning clothes (I buy all my clothes second hand since about 10 years). I think this is beautiful and makes you stand out even more between all those brand-addicted people out there.

I’d recommend a Pinterest account (if you don’t have one already). The most pins for a particular aesthetic will point you in the right direction and it’s free. It was helpful for me. My tip is to just pin things circulating already on there. I’ve seen people on there with boards that say things “I like/love”, “Things for the home” and so on. You can follow people if you dig their style. Sometimes a KZbin influencer will also have a Pinterest account or linked to their Instagram. Also fashion is something that takes time to evolve, there’s no particular time limit to figure out what aesthetic you love. Also music, podcasts, books etc. will tell a great deal about what styles you like. I’d recommend Keeping a journal/scrapbook if that helps as well and write what you love about ex be a place, poem or lyric etc. magazine cut-out Dream boards are great too.
