My 16 year old daughter happen to be in the room when I was watching this. Specifically the part where you were saying to find out what you like to do and make that your passion /profession. She said “he’s just like you. He loves cars and he obviously loves what he does.” She knows my passion is my career. It opened up an opportunity to have one of those life talks with her about chasing passion and then never feeling like you ever have to work a day in your life. Good moment with a typical teenager who is basically quiet and doesn’t say much. Thanks.

Golden era Honda therapy. I recommend getting a spare set of front fender liners to heat and mold. I just replaced my ITR front fender liners yesterday. Previous owners had it slammed and it rubbed through the plastic in the upper area. One side is discontinued so used only now. I was missing a lot of OEM clips and hardware too and I got those also. Feels good to reverse all the mods and damage owners did.

Carbon fiber hoods (and maybe other parts) are finished with a "gel coat" they are supposed to be sanded and painted by the customer or just leave them like that for racing applications. Having watched multiple videos that you've posted, I can safely say that I like how informative your videos are. You clearly do your research and have a passion for what you do. I bought my 2 latest pressure washers (Kranzle & Active 2.0) and snow foam cannons, purely due to your recommendation. What makes some of these videos unbearable is how snarky and negative you are. If you're doing what you love, why be a douche about it. I'm not trying to be mean or negative, just giving my honest opinion. Please don't alienate potential viewers or customers by being obnoxious. We get it, you know what you're doing and you've done a lot of research. You know the right people and you attend all the right events. I've noticed that when you have other people in your videos, your videos are completely different BUT when you're alone... man oh man, it's a bit much. You're better in this video. Some of the other videos I've had to either skip through much of the commentary or just skip to the conclusion part. Please don't take this in the wrong way because you really do know your stuff. The detailing space and car industry needs you and your knowledge. It's just a bit of constructive criticism. I don't mean any offence, just being honest Sir

The reason people recommend only meeting company match on 401k is because 401ks have more fees associated with them than IRAs. So, 401k only really shines when your company is matching. Beyond that you max out your IRA to enjoy the lower fees and once you've maxed that out THEN you go back and contribute over the match on your 401k. So yeah, go ahead and max out your 401k but not until you've maxed out an IRA first. ① 401k up to match ② Max out IRA ③ Max out 401k

How is GSF compared to Adam's Car Shampoo when it comes to washing in direct sunlight? I know you should always work in the shade but I don't always have that luxury.
@coreywagganer3 жыл бұрын
It's identical to Adam's with a similar PH. Even if it does dry on the car it will neutralize any hard water and rinse clean without reactivating. Adams's still a very good soap. However, this stuff is better.
@TheBreakfastLover2 жыл бұрын
I've used both for a few months now. In the sun Adam's doesn't rinse off nearly as well and leaves a thin film behind that picks up road grime. GSF rinses off better in the sun but in reality neither should by be used in full direct sunlight.

It’s too bad there wasn’t an OEM lip kit available like the 98-01 Integras had. It had rear bumper side extensions that would visually serve the same purpose as the mud guards, but looked way nicer. I think the general advice is to contribute enough to your 401k to get your employer's full match, then work on filling your IRA contribution, THEN you work on maxing out the 401k. Maybe people are just wording this wrong. It takes a while to get to a place where you can put away ~$26K of your income a year.
@ObsessedGarage4 жыл бұрын
That make very little sense to me. Just max out your 401(k). Every person I've ever met that nickel and dimes their investments also try and time and make really bad decisions. Keeping it simple is of great value.
@wde46574 жыл бұрын
@@ObsessedGarage Totally with you on keeping it simple. The only reason someone might want to do what I said is if the funds offered under their 401k suck. That was true of my last job. Your videos have some non-car related gold in them. Keeps things authentic I think. Keep it up!
