Just looked at this on Amazon, it only requires a 220 volt 50 amp breaker to run it at max settings. Input amps are different than output amps. The inverter inside the unit takes the two phase AC and converts it to DC, which can be at completely different amperage ratings.

Thanks for posting this. I've been looking for a cutter that can cut 1" steel for my heavy equipment. I have my 60a service hooked up for my welder and was curious if this needed another dedicated circuit or not.

I don't think you have to match the amps to the breaker. I can run my 225 amp TIG welder on a double 60 all day.. I run my 140 amp mig welder on a 20 amp breaker with no issues.
