whenever I do bubble braids they just blend in to my curly hair, there’s no contrast and it just looks like that one strand is a totally different type of hair than the rest of my head

i have straight hair and that happens to me because it's thick. if you try again the then future you could try wiggling the braids around! it just makes them move better and not be so stiff (at least with my hair type)

If u have dark black or dark brown hair try using bright colors because colours like black or dark colours will make it blend into your other hair which we dont want

OMG thank you😭👍 I’m Italian but my Italian family is all men and I got the Italian curls but my mother doesn’t have Italian hair so I have to wing it I can only put my hair in 2 styles ponytail and bun. 😢 this is very helpful to me because my grandmother is the only Italian woman in my close family but she’s only %50 and I am less but I still have much curlier hair. I have like your hair exactly almost when I took out my locs I had to cut most of my hair out bubble braids, one damp not wet just so you can see what hair you are using, two don’t really let it fly make it stuck to your head like a corn row for at least part of it you the top of your scalp then curb it if you want it to look like hers hope this helps So small pice of hair and make it a tad bit bigger until the thickness you want then don’t grab anymore hair so it does not stay to you scalp sorry if this makes no sense 😂😅

Try less hair when I had longer hair I always used the rubber bands and throughout the day they would just break 😂 but I never did bigger then mini bubble braids because the hair tie was to big or to small
