I love, love, love your walking / talking tours around Japan ... and yes, the longer videos are great. When you have more time, we get to see the little shops and "nose" around a bit more. By walking with you, I can plan my next visit (hopefully before I'm 100) and see places I will probably never visit. Keep walking / talking ... I am enjoying each step. Tomiko

I love the long walks with you, Shinichi. Osu is such a colorful, local area with quite a variety of interesting things to explore--just the sort of place I love to find in a city. All the treats you chose looked yummy, as usual. The warm taiyaki with custard and chunks of apples really got me salivating.😋 Thank you so much for taking us with you. It was fun! ❤️

Hi brother! Sriracha vending machine! Wow! Very cool! Just one more thing to add to your next trip to LA-as long as they’re open, because of what’s currently going on……I would love nothing more, than to take you, brothers Satoshi and Laurence, to the ‘Huy Fong,’ (Sriracha) factory, for their factory tour. It’s about an hour long and absolutely amazing! The tour is done on a long golf cart, and you will receive a free bottle of Sriracha or Sambal at the end of the tour. What’s amazing, is that they do not advertise their products. Sriracha has spread worldwide, by word of mouth, throughout the many years that they’ve been in business. The owner is a very kind man-very humble. Their company store is so much fun to shop at too! 🥰 OMGEEE! That crispy taiyaki! My son would love the hitsumabushi so much. I would even be willing to try it, and I don’t care for unagi, but I love ochazuke. What a great shotengai! So much to choose from. It was fun to see Ding Tea. We have quite a few out here. LOL! Loved your reaction to the waffle on the stick! Soooo many places to choose from to eat. My gosh! I would’ve been all over the sweet potato shops. 🥰 MENCHIKATSU! Awwwww! Thank you Brotherrrrr! Hee Hee! What a cute truck! I don’t blame you for getting the mentaiko korroke. I think I’d have to get both-menchikatsu and mentaiko! It really looked sooooo delicious! Bucket list!! 🥰 Yayyyy! You ate something with sweet potato! That ice cream tho! Thank you for this awesome food and shop tour! I’m going to watch and not comment anymore, because I’ve already commented too much. Gomennasai ne! ☺️

As an American, the more meat in a hamburger, the better 😆 I love these long videos, I usually watch as I eat my meals and drink coffee (I'm a pretty slow eater). Thanks so much for this, it's JUST what I needed this morning. LOVE this. I really feel like I'm hanging out with my friend. I adore finding little temples here and there, and really enjoy these longer videos. HA! I would not eat the BK burger for the same reason. There has to be a better meat/bun/cheese ratio than just a hunk of meat. NOW, give me a yummy little slider and I will tear them up, lol. These shotengai videos are my fave.

I love vintage clothing shops. I'd go broke walking through that shōtengai. All the food looked so good. And I think I saw that old temple on another video and if you would have turned in there you would have been greeted by a bunch of chickens that live there. I just thought that would have been funny since you had just mentioned Alfred Hitchcock's The Bird's. 😆

Wow, thanks for taking me to Osu! I went there 15 years ago. I went into convenience store and had a piece chicken katsu that cost me 100 yen and lasted me all day to eat because it was 10"x7" inches! Not really for people watching, but massive amount of stores to look at in a more quiet and subdued atmosphere. Wish I could be there, too! Hau'oli Makahiki Ho'u, Brahs!
