I wish they'd shown all the shapewear with something on top. Not awhite dress with such a light background though. They looked like those angel depictions where it is all white and light yet you can't see the definition of the angel

I loved padded shapewear when I was sick and underweight. Sitting on hard chairs when I only had hip bones to rest on was no fun. Very achy and tiring.

As a hipless and buttless female being, I see the appeal of these, but I go for comfort, so I rarely wear any kind of shapewear. But, it's not that unheard of to add padding in the butt or hip area, just look at dress styles from 19th century and earlier, these pads are miniscule!

For a person that is built straight up and down as far as waist and hips, this looks pretty cool, but I don't like controlling undergarments and I would need the added butt also. I have a very large chest area and that is about as womanly as my body gets. This was a cute idea but the execution looks all wrong. it's so sad honestly... women that have big hips and a booty want to be thinner, thin ones want booty...why is it that we have to hate ourselves? is it because we learn from childhood that a woman's body is an object for pleasure? and FYI: I spent my teenage years with guys mostly. they don't effin care! yes, there's a patriarchy and men are initially to blame...but today girls...it's us. stop talking ish about other women, stop feeling less than...that's when the patriarchy wins.

Girls, I love you all, but I gotta say, aren't the clear straps used to hang the garment on a hanger, not actually "clear shoulder straps"?

Some clear straps are meant to use as actual straps, and some are meant to be used just to keep the clothes on the hanger. The easiest way to tell is if the strap has some sort of adjustment on it similar to what a bra strap would or if it has little hooks that make it removable. If not and they’re pretty thin and pretty stretchy then they’re probably just meant to use to keep on the hanger.

For me the only difference between a padded bra and butt pads is the size. If I were to wear them, the only reason I wouldn't do a butt pad is because I can only endure so much sweaty padding on my body.

So I have "saddle bags" AND hip dips it's honestly not a great look. It's just how I'm built, skinny or a bit thicker. Both the hip pads would smooth it out which is how I wish my body would just naturally do. I am with the girls wishing we could just mold our fat to where we want it.
