Your nails turned out nice and smooth, but I've found that when gel polish designs get to be a little thick and bumpy it helps to top coat, then buff over the entire nail until smooth, then top coat again. Makes the world of difference. Congrats on your milestone! 😁 You deserve it.

You answered the exact question I had when I saw these. I was thinking that you would have to fill all of that hollow space up to the apex with glue. First off, congratulations on reaching 25K! 🎊🥳🎉 Your channel is at the top of my subscriptions and I've even double-watched a few of the videos. Your content is very relatable and easy to follow along. This design turned out so pretty! I love your color choice. Flash gel colors are always so fun to work with! I find that putting the polish down on a pallet and then transfering it to the naili tends to 'smudge' the colors instead of marbling them, and the polish tends to be thicker than I personally prefer. If I may suggest: Another way to do this is to apply small dots of the colors on the actual nail, much like you did on the polish on the palette, and then swirl the colors on your nail itself. Then turn your nail upside down so that it self levels and then cure it. Also a slight buff before the top coat helps eliminate or minimze the uneven texture that the marbling tends to leave. 💅💖💖💖

OMG I’ve been looking for tips like this and didn’t even realize it! lol because my nails look way too flat. I even bought polygel to start learning how to do that. I have a KZbin channel as well, I’m a tarot card reader, and only my hands show in my videos, so I’d like to make sure that my nails look nice when I’m doing my readings. Super cool! I love the really sparkly polishes. I love the various gel x dupes out there but one thing I always have an issue with is when I look at the underside of my nails. There's always a gap between my nails and the tips. The more sculpted they are, the worse the gap. I'm going to have to try this marbling technique. Thank you!

You need an apex. Even when I put gel-x on a client I still use builder gel or acrygel to build the correct apex and nail structure based on the shape and length of the nails. Longer the nails bigger the apex. I LOVE these nails. They are the best full cover tips I’ve ever come across and that I personally wear for normal day to day. I have a half dozen clients that also love them and won’t use anything else. I’ve reached out to the manufacturer to request info about future plans because I’d love these in other shapes! You can file these into a stiletto and almond but can’t remove length or you’re going to be doing a full rebalance since the apex is the perfect size for a L/XL nail. I can’t believe these aren’t more popular. It’s crazy!!!

I have these and even with all of the prep (I’ve been doing nails for years now) they ALWAYS fall off in a few days. I have tried everything from using different brands/consistencies of gel, but nothing worked as of yet so this kit has been under my bed for months. After seeing this I am going to try again because the nails are absolutely beautiful.

I bought these during BF 2023, and there weren’t any videos or many YT reviews. I had a hard time finding proper sizing due to my high arch nail beds. The flat center of these nail don’t allow for that, therefore they wouldn’t fit side wall to side wall except for my thumb nail which is flatter. Sadly I had to return them. 😫 I really hope they make some to fit higher arches.

I get this effect by building an apex with builder gel on top of a full cover tip. That way you can have them at any length and the strength point is still in the right place. Plus you can build it up to any height you want ❤

Okay Miss Brandy hopefully you can give me a tip on how to keep them on my nails longer than 3 days. I'm having a problem every time I use t the gel glue I think it is. I prepare the way you are supposed to but for some reason they only last on my nails for 3 days and then they start popping off. I filed them or buff them whichever I use acetone to make sure there's no oil. I make sure I cure them with the glue on them for a little bit of extra time but yet they still seem to pop off after 3 days can you help me please I would really appreciate it

What grit number do you use? it might be too high cause I noticed when I tried the nail buffing blocks it wasnt enough until i started using my efile with a sanding band. I was able to get into the crevices that usually is harder to get with a buffing block (not sure if that is what you are using) and I also started using a nail dehydrator (acetone should work fine) but I also use a nail primer and I really like the Young Nails protein bond. Another big difference I've noticed is when I file the inside of the nail because itll create texture that the gel will hold onto more. I've been able to go 3 weeks with doing those steps so hopefully it helps!

Buff your nails and clean cuticles off with a drill bit.... then use Mia secret dehydrator and young nails protein bond... next the ONLY gel x glue I will use is the makartt nail glue in the brown polish bottle that looks like nail polish bottle... my nails last for almost a month and probably longer if I wanted ... I use this over acrylic anymore... acrylic lifts for me and this never does

Sounds like you need more prep on your natural nails. Your nail bed may produce excess oil, which is totally normal! Are you using Dehydrator and Primer? ❤

Also make sure they fit the nail properly. If they are too small or too big they can lift off 😢

After your prep, use a primer & let dry completely then apply a base coat, wipe off sticky layer with alcohol wipe and the apply with your brand of nail glue. It may help.
