Today we have a trip to the H and H classic car auction at the Duxford air museum to try and buy a car that we have been after for a long time.
We take a good look at the cars for sale including Sierra Cosworth, Mk1 Ford Escort, E type Jaguar, MG Midget, Mini, Land Rover, Austin Healey 3000, Capri, Bentley, Porsche and Ferrari
Working at our fully equipped workshop in Kent we carry out tasks including Panel beating, Body work, Mig Welding, Sheet metal Spot Welding, Fabrication, Chassis Repairs, Sand Blasting, Engine and Mechanical repairs, Reconditioning, Restoration and Structural repairs on the Celette Jig Dozer frame machine.

Please don’t apologise for getting excited over the Cossie. It’s your genuine enthusiasm that strikes a chord with us and keeps us viewers coming back to your vids. If I remember correctly these were called RS500’s back in the day or am I getting confused with another model? Whatever the correct title is, congrats to you and Chris. I know I shall watch with baited breath the restoration and resurrection of a legend. @Tricky Rat Yeah I agree. I saw a Fiesta Supersport go through ACA Auctions for £23k! Nothing special about them as they're just a tarted up Fiesta with fancy graphics.....but now more rare than Sierra Cossies. Even bog standard Mini Clubmans are selling at daft prices if in good nick.

My uncle had that cossie. I remember riding home on my bike from school and seeing it parked on the drive knowing we was going out for a spin. Great video. Very nostalgic.

My friend was a farmers son and we use to buy Capris and MK1 escorts that were on their last legs and race them in the field. I remember we had a green stripe Escort Mexico, a Jenson Intercepter and a V12 X type and an Alfa Junior. They were all MOT failures and on their way to the scrapyard and worth nothing back in the day. My favourite and best memory was a Hillman Imp with baling twine for a throttle cable that just went on and on. this was nearly 40 years ago.
