Trying to Jump Horse Jumps as a Kid vs. Adult

I remember as a middle school student, we were gonna play tennis for the first time. And I have no idea why, but as a completely non athletic person, I saw that tennis net and thought “I can jump that” and I ran out ahead of my class to jump it and of course my feet caught and I face planted on the concrete. Oops. 😅

I literally fractured my toe jumping like that at my dads house 😂. So basically I jumped where my dad had a space like in between the wall and the countertop so one time like 2-3 weeks ago I was jumping over pillows in that space in between and my foot went to far out to the side and mid air I hit the growth plate between my pinky toe and 4th toe! I didn’t cry HOWEVER my pinky toe became like a purple and blue and red golf ball! It was not fun as for TWO days I was hopping around on one leg until I got my post op she😂😅
