Water spray before brushing and use a babies brush and comb!

I saw they burn the wire so it gets more cores and grips the fibers better.

And instead of hairspray they use water thinned out glue that they brush onto the petals

I feel you there, it takes so much time and practice to get it to look good. Also unwinding the thread definitely made my hand cramp so badly too.

@@vivilaineroosen7676 I don't even know what it was that made my hand cramp. I don't think it was the unwinding since my thread bunches are fairly small and it was my left hand that hurt even though I'm right handed.

@@channelcreeper1201 I believe it is mulberry silk like what's used in the video. It's very fine and smooth with a nice sheen.

I used a soft hand brush/ nail brush in the end but it did leave a lot of tangles still. The other comb I used was a standard fine hair comb.

it seems to be a really tricky craft to learn. I think it requires loads practise for some, including me, to get some decent results xD
