I work at a dermatology office and we recommend red light a lot. Its important that you don't expose yourself to sun or natural light an hour before you do treatment after treatment!! (Edit: sorry I put 24 hours when it should only be 1hr that’s my fault I apologize!!) I know this was 2 years ago but for any wondering now lol

Amber Wiegmans no. So what we do is usually take you back and put you in a very dimmed room before the actual red light and then once done we have you sit in the room a little longer and then you’re all set to go! I hope that explains it’s better! It’s also not a treatment you do everyday. It’s more like a couple times and it’s varies between patients

I use to do light treatments and they work. I went to school to be an esthetician... but the one we had it actually "zapped" you. It doesnt hurt or shock.. it feels like those globes that u touch. But it was different Bulbs u hooked into a machine and rubbed it along your face. It stopped blemishes or diminished them. I love the machine.

That chinstrap is old school beauty! Joan Crawford used to sleep with one and also with her face coated with lanolin. I think it shows an excellent commitment to youth and beauty. I've been fascinated by the Vicks steam inhaler for years, I'm super disappointed your sinuses weren't transformed. I loved your LED video! I thought hard about getting the red one for my old skin. But I'm cheap. This new one reminds me of a futuristic sunlamp. I love this video, it lets you express your personality so much. Tip for the LED light! All these tips are crucial. You want to be as close to the light for maximum results, so sit as close to it as you comfortably can. There's also a study that found that green tea in conjunction with LED enhances results - the study showed that sitting bags of green tea on your face for 20 minutes prior to LED treatment every day for one month was comparable to 11 months of LED alone. Alternatively, you could use a green tea essence like the one from Amore Pacific!

I have a brush spinner cleaner and it actually works really well! You don’t use a lot of soap, and dish soap isn’t great. I also like to do a rinse in rubbing alcohol. I’m not sure if that’s bad or not 😬 but it super cleans the brushes!

I use the brush cleaner thingy with Cinema Secrets makeup brush cleanser, and love it. I tried dawn before, and also failed. Use the mesh brush shapers that come on some fluffy brushes right after to keep shape.

Danagonemack It actually does work. I have one and I love it. You just have to make sure the suction is not too strong or you’ll get bruising very easily. It’s best to do this at night after a shower,; that’s when all your pores are wide open and ready to go
