SOMEBODY IS BECOMING AN EXCELLENT VIDEO EDITOR. NICE WORK YOU GUYS XOXOXOX

I guess I have been getting some practice. I wish I had more time to make them better. I am envious of the fulltime boaters who get to spend days editing before releasing a video. I give it one day and do the best I can in that time frame.
@rogerblackwood88152 жыл бұрын
There's a nice relaxed vibe around this channel👍 No look at me types, just two nice people and some friends enjoying a lovely boat and using it for what it was meant for! I might be wrong, but I think this is the only boating channel with engines and no sails that I have seen on the tube? I admire the sails type, but give me an engine and a 10Kn cruise any day😎
@Prototheria2 жыл бұрын
There are a ton of stinky boat channels out there, but most are just loopers. There's also Searching For C-Shels, Mermaid Monster, and a few other "also rans" that I can't remember. They're out there, though. TBH, I think the best cruising channel (blow boat or otherwise) was The O'Kelly's before they stuck their name on a bag of coffee.
@tryingnottosink91072 жыл бұрын
Thanks. We appreciate that. We try to be as realistic as we can when we shoot the videos. The good and the bad. There are a couple of other good power boat channels but no where near as many as the sailing channels. We like Oloh and C-Shells, but there are a few others.

Had the same t-head at Las Olas last year when we had to come in for repairs. Nice place to be, lots to do. Also seem to have frequent issues with wave forecasts from various sources, doesn't look like you had too many issues but we've certainly turned around heading back to Port Everglades from Bimini and from Key West to Miami - a flexible plan is always the best plan.

Dude, you should understand that 4-5 secs intervals on 2-3 ft will make your ride bumpy. It will be bumpy even at 6-7 secs intervals. Above 7 secs is more like a rolls and the ride will be smooth. You can have a 4-5 ft sea at 10 secs and great ride, but experience bumpy and super chopy seas at under 6-7sec. Wave intervals are very very very important.

Bon Jovi does yearly concert cruises on one of the big cruise ship lines. The ship is full of hard core fans and he takes time to meet them and sign autographs. They have met him enough times that I think they get invites to small venues that he shows up at.

@tryingnottosink91072 жыл бұрын
We do as well. Even when they are anchored somewhere they shouldn't. The area we anchor in at Biscayne is actually a Manatee zone, so it is no wake all year.

I really expected you to rock and roll with the size of that wake but didn't see a thing. Was that camera stabilization or did nothing really happen?
@tryingnottosink91072 жыл бұрын
It wasn't real bad, and yes, we were using a stabilizer. We have had sport fishers run just off our bow at 30 knots in that area several times. Once they broke almost all our glasses and much of our alcohol.
