I'm honestly so glad that this game has the evacuation route (and its variants) One of my only issues with Undertale was everyone seemingly forgetting you were going on a murderous rampage if you abort the route within Snowdin or Waterfall, it felt really unnatural. This game practically fixed that one gripe and in doing so, made the game/world feel more responsive to what you're doing

This is called late evacuation I believe. You can also trigger evacuation by doing the weird niche method of sparing sans by missing your attacks, by not completing the kill counts or by sparing the dogs

You could also spare Sans after a ruthless but the effects are in the Crystal Mines ofc

Any form of neutral works. You can decide not to chase after the boogie men, and sans will still show up. My favorite method is killing Ruined Home and Asgore, but sparing everyone else. Muffet’s fight is more fun that way.

Btw if you spare everyone in the Isles in this route Sans has a few extra/altered lines of dialogue about how the evacuation went perfectly and the monsters that you encountered and spared defended your actions against those who thought you were completely murderous. Too bad none of that really mattered because you already genocided Ruined Home. You can't escape the consequences of your actions.

One thing I love about this game is that it actually dives into what you killed and who you spared. Like, you could only kill Doggo and Crossbones will actually comment that fact! Now I’m hyped for what will happen in Crystal Springs. Perhaps Papyrus will teach us to do good things while helping us get away from the Navy in the process.

Fun fact:if you miss every attack during the sans underta-Crossbones fight you can back down and your run becomes evac neutral also... DOUBLE fun fact:You can begin killing at the isles and your run becomes a "no evac neutral" implying there will be neutral branches

​@@Rocket_Gunner7414I know this is a old comment, But Actually You can get LOVE 10 in ruthless by using Version 1 demo, Since theres no limit for encounters for each room like in version 2, Section 1, Ruined home: Murder 21 loox, Make sure to pick on each one 3 times, Make sure to do this before ruined knights, You should have 480 exp Before asgore, Then after you kill asgore, You should be LOVE 8 Section 2 Startlight isles: Make sure To check each room for encounters Then exhaust the limit of encounters there Make sure to kill only woodworks, Before harry and larry i think i don't remember, Then kill Beenard, Then kill the triple Encounter which Includes Mordax, Woodwork And The sun guy, Then Murder the remaining enemies so Dogamy and Dogaressa Don't Count For the remaining enemies, Then kill muffet, After that, Kill harry and larry, You should be LOVE 10, Then Kill crossbones and you should be LOVE 10 with 1669 EXP, Just one more EXP Before LOVE 11 And there!

Fun fact: You do not have to play this route at level 4, you can reach this route at level 8 by playing passively until you leave the Ruined Home and killing everyone in the remaining half. Also you can kill leaser dog and great dog in this route and sans have different dialogues.
