Absolutely. If the 1st Terminator on Day X at hour Y wasn't enough, then send a 2nd one to help on Day X hour Y. If not enough, send many more to that hour until eventually the 400 or so Terminators you have sent overcome Sarah Connor's defenders. Their purpose after that would be general destruction of human resources.

Yea send terminators back in time and destroy human resources so they can't advance technology and create skynet in the future. Self annialation, I love it. Hey how about the part where in a effort to preserve it's own existence skynet nukes the entire planet which essentially would send us back to the stone ages and wipe out and destroy tech equipment , computer grids and power grids sattilite systems you know.... Pretty much all technology destroyed in nuclear explosions including skynet who is in all technology computer systems by that point and then it just blows it's reach into the world into smithereens
