Shirou is HIM. Shirou is my favorite main protagonist because I was so idealistic in high school and regretted it later. UBW (anime) helped me accept and liked who I was and where I am now. I took a lot of student loans to graduate TCU without truly understand what it would mean later. As my student loans drained half my paychecks, I began look back hate myself for being so naive about success without understand the cost that were associated it. Placing myself in the shoes of both Shirou and Archer gave me perspective and see things in a positive light. I know can't fully express my point of view and emotions in this statement but I feel many of you probably understand where I am coming from without the full context

Considering Herc has Agility:A, Shirou would need to be at least A+, if not EX, to reach Saber and push her out of the way in time. Knowing that this is him as a human, it then implies that when he became a Counter Guardian his abilities were actually diminisbed since Archer Emiya only has a C in Agility. This then implies the Counter Force itself isn't powerful enough to fully represent the powers and abilities of Emiya Shirou.

When it comes to EOR (End of Route) Shirou as an adult before died, which version of him is the strongest. The Fate Route before he entered Avalon The UBW Route as an adult HF ending. I feel like in that sense it would be Fate Route EOR Shirou because the illustrations of last epiosode implied that he too got his Reality Marble and on top of that he is the only one who can summon Avalon because of his strong bond with Saber.

But we do know that in all three route (except maybe Heaven's Feel because Shirou doesn't train as much anymore because of his body) that Shirou after the war surpass Archer when he reach adulthood. This makes it that Shirou doesn't need to make a contract with Alaya in any other route and somehow prevent another timeline where Archer/Emiya is made. So, until we can confirmation from Nasu himself, we can only try to figure out ourselves on who actually is the strongest version of Shirou.
