My argument is fire benning and coach Should be both fired due to benning had 8 yrs to rebuild and traded away a 1st for JT miller when the lighting was desperate for cap space is coming back to haunt the Canucks team future linden was saying full rebuild we need more time , the owners didn’t want that so the so the heart and soul of the team that fans actually cared about they fired him instead. Almost every other team that is tooling to a rebuild are doing better then the Canucks getting picks and putting the right players in place benning had so much time not just that he over pays every free agency for depth players he called Poolman a top 4 def and he traded 1st R picks but wouldn’t trade a 4-7R pick to get rid of holtby for 1 year he caused another cap penalty and bought him out instead I blame him as responsible for getting rid of linden and the scout bcuz benning wanted full control and fans hate it and are just as Frustrated with the Aquilani’s as well.

Kraken have a worse record than I expected but coming off two solid wins against the Caps and Canes shows they can complete with anyone on any given night. I expect them to finish close to .500 with an outside shot at a playoff spot.

@@richard_nj Respectfully disagree, for existing teams I understand the Cup or tank mentality but the majority of fans here don’t see it that way for a new team. Just want them to be competitive and building towards a contender over the next 2-3 seasons.

@@sgtpickles1319 I do understand that an expansion franchise might not want to suck right out of the gate in order to garner some fan support in the city. But I think the real hockey fans are gonna be fans almost no matter what and the larger casual sports fan population won't be won over by .500 seasons and first round exits anyway, so you might as well tank because I seriously doubt there's a contender to be built in Seattle in the time frame you're proposing.

I love the flames, ever since I was born they’ve been my team, but I’m still not convinced that this is the real thing based on how we’ve performed in the second half of different seasons and how we’ve been in the playoffs. Loved the new episode! One thing I noticed when discussing the Russian olympic team is you keep saying Panarin will be on the team. If I remember correctly, hes vowed to never play for Russia again due to the political turmoil he's faced. Also, no chance Slava Voynov doesn't make the team, will arguably make the D a little more consistent! Keep up the great work!

I am a bruins fan, and the bruins definitely are at the end of their prime. Their bad drafting has cost them at least the cup against St. Louis, and honestly maybe being a team like Chicago or Pittsburgh. Because they lost the cup in 2019, they’re still chasing a cup they most likely won’t win. Bad drafting wasted their core, and I couldn’t agree more with what the penguins guy said about them. To finish I’ll say that I don’t think any trade will help them win a cup, they have to play for the future, which they won’t, and they will probably pay for it eventually. Great podcast guys

I’d say if when he returns he puts up decent goals he comes back, if not we move him and give carter the second line full time. From there Rodrigues has been a great 4th line so right now we’re probably fine. In letangs case they talked in a recent interview about cutting his numbers both for his health and for the teams balance. They’re aware he’s getting older but no chance he’s traded. Either retires or re signs to the team

I would like my Bruins to make a move for Hertl, but honestly the guy I wanna see them try and take at the deadline or earlier is try and move Debrusk to Calgary for Noah Hanifin. It's evident the Bruins need consistent defense (all of their losses have been by 2+ goals, they've yet to shut anyone out this season), so why not try and make a move for a top 4 defenseman by giving up a guy who wants out?

nothing said about the Isles is wrong. But as an Isles fan I would say their biggest problem with their healthy roster is no puck moving defenseman. Salo might be that guy, but that can help them so much more than people realize.
