Rage is a bad/meh transformation so saying it’s peak is crazy when there’s so many transformations throughout the entire series. Now saying Frieza isn’t racist is absolutely insane when he literally calls everyone in the cast who’s name he should know by now only by their race. But let’s just stick to the Saiyans for this take. Frieza knows both Goku and Vegeta’s names and still chooses to call them monkey,apes,or whatever words for their race he can come up with. When King Cold drops the news that his son will be taking over for him,frieza’s words to choice towards the sayians meeting them for the first time is “Hello Monkeys”. Tells Cabba to his face is that he hates nothing more than a monkey. In the manga during the tournament of power he literally targets U6 Sayians and ask/wonder why he’s targeting only sayians. In the anime during the tournament of power frieza tells goku “Hurry up and throw me Sayian” not even bothering to call him Goku even tho i get its the heat of the moment and they’re about to beat jiren. And my last few point is when goku is about to tap into Ultra instinct again thinking of everyone and when it gets to frieza he says “dance for us monkey” and that’s goku thinking of frieza. And last one is when goku and frieza are fighting on namek and it’s just goku quoting frieza saying “he was just a monkey”. So saying frieza isn’t racist but xenophobic is the biggest reach ever.

Meanwhile, saying that Gohan should've been the MC is not a bad idea in concept. As someone who enjoys writing, I will always say that there is no such thing as a bad concept in writing. There is only bad execution. Now as much as I like Gohan, I'm kinda glad that Gohan didn't become the MC permanently because Toriyama realized that Gohan being a reactionary character is a bit limiting and not as exciting for story-telling. If he found a way to make Gohan a more active character that learned how to balance between his social life and training, I'd think it could work out. Totally Not Mark made a pretty interesting video where it's a what-if scenario where Gohan is the main character for the Buu Saga and I thought it was pretty good. Not perfect, but a fun alternate scenario to the original Buu Saga. In short, Goku is not a bad dad, but he's not perfect, either and Gohan as the MC for at least 1 arc could work out well. Also, can some explain the whole thing about Sogeking/Usopp take where they either are or aren't the same character? Cuz I thought that Sogeking was an alternate persona for Usopp that helped him be brave and allow himself to help Luffy despite the fact that he separated himself from the crew at the time. I mean, we literally see Sogeking remove his mask to show it's Usopp and having him shout at Luffy to get up during Luffy's fight against Rob Lucci. Or am I not seeing that this is some sort of joke?

I disagree with the reactionary character segment. Reactionary characters are (outside of manga) the most interesting main characters. The main reason for this that I've learned in my classes and from study is that active protagonists are oftentimes more direct and simple. A story being driven by someone with highly conflicting ideals and emotions is probably all over the place. Reactive protagonists on the other hand are allowed more depth, because you can put them in a wider variety of situations without disrupting the stories flow and feeling. In manga, Shonen specifically, this isn't the case because these series don't prioritize depth. They prioritize a simple story with cool concepts and relatable characters. The demographic is children after all. Gohan also doesn't work because his entire character depth is explored during the cell saga. Unless you introduce another core facet to his character, you cannot tell a story with meaningful growth. You also can't really do that with Goku, as his character remains highly consistent, but with Goku you are allowed to show off Dragonball's strengths; stories about kinship, pushing past your limits, and fighting for what you believe is right. Toriyama was good at writing a certain type of story, and Gohan as a main character doesn't allow for that type of story. Simple as.

I could quite literally break down into a Science as to why Drake is a terrible artist in every regard except for sonically appealing to one's senses, but I'm mainly gonna talk beyond Drake bc mfs in songwriting want to ignore a blatant message. That very hot take ties into the issues going on right now, and one of those key issues is that Drake isn't the direct problem, but an example of what the problem really is. Kendrick has been trying to say it, but I'm sure you've seen the "mid" "this sh** a**" and so forth. Mostly going to censor it incase of YT auto-deletion. Straight up though: I don't actually CARE if you switched up after the beef or not. In my mind, you have joined the positive side of music fans, and I don't care about the semantics. You got to understand that being positive towards something or someone negatively feeding off of their own industry is a negative action; being negative towards someone who's being negative towards an ongoing negativity is a triple negative, which is still a negative action. It's not actually a sense of help to gaining a positive outlook, as it's just an unfortunate perspective diff. For one, I absolutely believe, to a certain extent, that Drake is like "that". I firmly believe there is enough evidence in his past lyricisms to imply that something of non-consensual circumstance has absolutely been a reality in his life, more than once. I also know, as an artist, that we ALL hide the deeper, darker lyrics that we would never say to the public. You piece what you want, but Drake's very music reflects who he is. It gets all "PG" once more people are focusing eyes on him in the common media. This is nothing new, only now, he's just blatantly doing it and retaining as much viewership. With how information works, I'd say about half of those fans disgust me, and the other half need to be told the truth by someone trustworthy. He's already gotten away with it, so the best you can do is take away the listens you're giving. Trust me, there are so many better people who sound similar; explore the underground if you really need to. I am also a person who has been thinking the exact shit that Kendrick said in that 'Party Died' record, and I was wondering how to go about it because it's super easy to misinterpret. I'ma just have to put it vaguely: the "Party" is in reference to a forming sub-culture of hip hop that is occasionally leaking into rap in which we now believe there's a "conscious rap", when in reality, that which isn't conscious rap is a massive circle of negatively-oriented people who are abusing the system for money and "fun" with next to no soul in their music. Let me put it like this: that term only exists because "unconscious rap" has fully formed. It isn't that you have to be hyper lyrical or address a real life topic every time, but that you are actually producing ACTUAL coherent thought when you rap. If you were going to say nothing, pick a singing genre or a genre without lyrics in the first place. You are harming the vibe for people who like to think on such words. Music has continued to effortlessly sound better with people who are coherent in their music, but there is now a large group of people who barely even want to hear the words that play on a random song; often times, these will be the songs from those producing unconscious rap. When I say unconscious, I am specifically meaning that to someone who is connecting and not exclusively enjoying music, the lyrics within a song hold no true purpose. Some people call these lyrics a result of brain rot, but it's a literal phenomena of people phasing together words that they should, yet don't understand enough to talk about. Drake does not understand anywhere NEAR what a person should for when it comes to connecting to music itself, but due to his ability to know and identify the sounds that people agree with, he has garnered all of the basic viewership and then a more complex array of smarter people who chose not to dig deeper into it. For the smarter people, they started with a line of misinterpretation that applies to them, but not the artist. There is a fake connection; a negatively formed nexus that several artists have done by accident or purpose. I will word it like this, because I've noticed when the lyrics are directly posted that these Drake fans just up and vanish. When something that hints towards evidence is up, they aren't there. But let me be even clearer: I'm not just here for those fans, but for anyone who even REMOTELY continues to support Drake's music; if you're the type of person that would rather not support someone for when they are doing bad things behind the scenes, then stop listening to God's Plan, Back to Back, Family Matters, Push Ups, whatever you're pushing an agenda on still being a good song despite it all; he's a fraud. There will be other timelines for Drake to be a good person, but this is NOT the one. Please, move on, there are so many artists that we can never fully keep count. There WILL be someone that appeals more to you than Drake, I swear to you. He really is not good as an artist, but an example artist of the very type of music that has slid by into popularity for modern hip hop. I would rarely say that you can judge someone's actions from when you've never met them, but please take a look at telltale signs. Drake played a fake calm demeanor in response to each and every one of his losses in beef, he only stepped up as a responsible individual after several facts, and he also has underage evidence that even his fans try to defend with semantics. Honestly, given how much that I've written, you are likely to find someone who does this, only assuming that any replies were made to this. I actually highly doubt it, personally; I'm mostly sending this out in hopes that someone who has yet to understand will. Drake is largely representative of the elements that are killing music: biting culture in a way that feels inspirational to the uninformed, AI of a deceased musical legend, admittance to immoral sexual behavior, an overall emotional sense of stability to disregard his own irresponsible online actions, and the beyond. I feel like SSR glazers and haters are both wrong. Super Saiyan is a form induced by rage. Super Saiyan Rage existing isn’t a problem at all. After all, Gohan got extra mad and unlocked Super Saiyan 2. Goku asspulled a third Super Saiyan form offscreen and was first shown turning into it by screaming for 4 minutes. So clearly, another rage form isn’t out of place. The problem I have with it is the scaling. The problem is that it scales up to Blue, not that exists. Toei could’ve written it so that when Trunks returned to the past, all 6 saiyans (including Gohan, Goten and kid Trunks) perform a SSG ritual and unlock SSG for Future Trunks but it runs out. Then have it so his meltdown propels him to power up on top of this god Ki. So basically treating SSR as slightly stronger than God but weaker than Blue, because it’s not a full Super Saiyan stacked on top of God. I feel like everyone here has crappy opinions on this topic lol.
