Vegeta getting SS4 was him being willing to accept help from Bulma to get stronger because Vegeta is chill like that in GT, and he's grown past trying to outdo Goku which almost got everyone killed in the Cell and Buu sagas. It is perfectly in character after his speech in Buu arc. Also it was physically impossible for him to get SS4 because he couldn't grow back his tail since he lost it as an adult, and he would've earned it fine since he was able to control himself as a great ape, unlike Goku and Gohan. And Gogeta was pulling a Vegito where he intentionally annoying Omega so he can turn his negative energy from the Dragon Balls to positive so the universe doesn't die after Gogeta kills him, and the fusion runs out before he can finish Omega off. I like GT and am fine with criticism so future material can learn from it, but at least get the story right when you want to say why you aren't a fan of it.

SSJ2 Goku vs Kid Buu was one of the best filler fights in the series. Majin Vegeta vs SSJ2 Goku had a lot of dope moments. I dont know SSJ2 did its job in hype moments, but since the following arc had multiple forms that overshadowed it it didn't have long to shine. The entire Android arc had various forms of SSJ and every Saiyan had a fight in their SSJ forms and showed out except arguably Gohan. The series was basically "Hey look at the shiny SSJ2 guys!" and then an arc later they threw fusion at us, SSJ3 and Ultimate Gohan at us lol. It also doesnt help that SSJ2 looked weak as hell consistently throughout the arc with Vegeta getting clapped and Gohan nearly dying. Throw salt in the wound and Babidee laughs at SSJ2 Goku cause Vegeta got slaughtered so bad by Buu in the same form.

It's not what SSJ2 did in the series. It's that it looks so much like SSJ. They may as well be the same form. The form was great when it represented Gohan's unleashed potential in the Cell arc. But the moment Toriyama made it a form any Saiyan could get and called it SSJ2, it lost all uniqueness and became a lame SSJ clone.

For me personally the best form is a tie between original super saiyan and ultra instinct-sign-. SSJ is just so iconic and it was the pinnacle of saiyan power….until 2 and 3….similarly how ultra instinct is the compilation of martial arts mastery and being in tune with ones movement without thought.

Surprised no ones giving kaioken any love, it has two of the best fights in the entire series, goku vs vegeta, and freeza vs goku, and goku going x20 against freeza as his last ditch effort to save everyone is honestly the best moment in the best saga of dragon ball. I think just for story that clears every other form.

Okay this is a really hot take. I think Blue should've been exclusive to Vegeta and only Vegeta. Goku earns Super Saiyan God through the ritual. So his hair turns red. Vegeta earns Super Saiyan God by training with Whis and Beerus instead of the ritual, so his hair ends up turning blue. Both guys get their own unique version of Super Saiyan God that way.

Talking about Saiyan God, my opinion is that it should have been the form they train under Whis and Beerus to obtain and maintain. Blue is not needed as you can easily make the point that mastering red hair continuously makes you stronger, gives you new ki abilities, and brings you closer to the celestial beings that have already mastered something similar to it - angels and Gods of destruction. The natural evolution for each of Goku and Vegeta following God should have been the same as it is now - angel powers for Goku, destruction powers for Vegeta. With Goku tapping into Ultra Instinct for the first time during the Tournament of Power, same as now, but because the God form was not enough to beat someone clearly more powerful than a base God of Destruction (Jiren). This way you can make sense of the necessary progression into the specific celestial techniques and of the power scaling. That is why I believe that Super Saiyan 4 makes more sense than any transformation in DBS - it had a natural progression, a dependency on the nature of the Saiyans (the tail and the full moon), and an obstacle to overcome - mastering the Golden Oozaru form. For the hate GT gets from people (I am not one of them) I think they had a better understanding of how to progress into a transformation.

Orange was obtained by asking Shenron and just made Piccolo useful. God needed a very specific thing to get it, it didn't immediately give Goku an advantage, he actually lost it mid way through the fight, but he somehow managed to get a stronger Base off of its power, allowing for the sick moment of him going SSJ on top of this God Base to start pressing Beerus. Before whipping it out again in a desperate moment to stop Beerus' attempt to destroy Earth. It did cooler things. It looks cooler. The way it's obtained and then handled afterwards was more interesting. They're NOT the same.

To be fair to SSJ4 Gogeta he takes place in a different point in time than the original SSJ Gogeta. Given the time that the Gogeta movie takes place in it makes more sense why Gogeta acts more seriously. However SSJ4 Gogeta happens multiple years after and Vegeta who is half of the fusion is already a different kind of person then he was before. The way I interpreted SSJ4 Gogeta's behavior was that now that Vegeta isn't the grumpy and overly serious person he used to be he is more susceptible to having fun and messing with his opponent. I guess what I'm trying to say is that SSJ4 Gogeta could be interpreted to act the way he does BECAUSE part of himself has had a change of heart over the years (Vegeta obviously). However I think within the context of GT I THINK that Gogeta was trying to do something which is why he was taking his time, I might be mistaken on that so don't quote me on it. In the games however he isn't held back by plot and can easily become the highlight of whatever game he is a part of.

I thought about it for about 60 seconds without interruption in my older thoughts. And from deep within my core I already knew it was all me. Something about culture is the omen Goku is fucking crazy good. Do you know it’s powerful when you see mastered ultra instinct, and you still choose home in over it. Master ultra Goku is a Phenomenal look, but is everything that you said only does that mastered does not. Masta comes in at begin omen was built up and showcased phenomenally.
