One Week with Moerman

This week i figured after some suggestions I’d try using #moerman tools again so i headed over to windowcleaner.com and placed an order and got some of the latest versions of their tools. While a few surprised me the others did little to impress me. Hi Enjoyed watching your video whilst eating a bag of cheese & onion crisps.Very entertaining watching you rant & rave! Been there myself when first got one & they only sold the fixed handle which was set at wrong angle, making it impossible to use without leaving a triangle. The fix for the channel sliding up & down once really soapy is fit the Unger plastic clips into the outside of the end clips “glass side”. This will nail the rubber in place & at same time solve the channel sliding. I find they work far better with the Unger “medium” green rubber. Once the rubber isn’t sliding into the channel anymore once it’s fixed in place, you shouldn’t get the “chatter” you are getting on the frame rubbers. Hope this helps👍

I use the liquidator 3.0 and Excelerator handle on the daily for commercial and residential. Once you get used to using them they are great. I would suggest using the -5 angle when doing window on a pole and you want to finish the whole window. I would also suggest not using the moerman soap and just using the dish soap. I would recommend you add it to sleeve as well as the bucket. Never use blue rubber. I really don’t like moerman fixed handles either. You find with the liquidator you have to have it 25 or 10 most of the time in hand. Also was that excerlerator handle shown in the video previously hold a ettore channel? If so that will be case why the moerman channel moves as the ettore brass bends the plastic as its thicker.

I've been using excellarator handles for years & love them but only use Ettore stainless steel channels. I've tried to get liquidator channels working many times but I only use them now on certain residential jobs, as you say they are simply no good for commercial, took me a long time to work out it wasn't just me!!

I purchased moerman T bars 14 and 18 and moerman pouch took them back to the supplier T bars would not lock and the pouch belt clips will not lock put a cloth in the bag the whole thing fell of the belt moerman need to look at there quality and i agree with you rubber no good. lol... You mad bro? Recent subscriber here. I used Liquidator with Fliq on a pole for 3 years before I tried it in hand. I was a Sorbo guy in hand. I hated it in hand but I forced myself to figure it out. It took months to get it right. Hate to say it but Polz has good advice on how to use Liquidator. He blocked me to from commenting on his channel. Gotta say I use Liquidator daily and I love it! Makes me feel icky for saying it...

It's not icky, you're literally one of the maybe one or two hundred window cleaners in the world that don't waste time detailing and smudging edges of windows with soapy water aka detailing if you do it right. Congrats

try these things: we use nearly every other rubber, never moerman rubbers. Also made a hole and put a screw to adjust the handle.the third thing is that we stratend the end clips by putting in cooked water and bended them.

Try using it with rubber uncut just straight square rubber with likea mil over the clip you get used to the feel of it without it being to different that's me going from a traditional tool for 15 years then switching.amd bend the bi component handle back tl a few degrees and t really helps once yoh get it , then its the best tool ive ever used . I rarely cut the angle in nnnthe rubber these days if it goes wrong its a dead rubber.

The handle is awesome for pole work, The channel is fine if you don’t cut the rubber ends, Just use it with a green unger rubber & straight ends, I have two of the handles, & I’ve been ready to put a brass channel in one of them , but i haven’t needed to

Love the newer 2.0 handle but with the Unger S Plus Channel and medium Black Diamond. Good set up. Still like my Wagtail High Flyer. Whatever I want to do that day or job.

I used to hate the channel but I couldn't let it go because of the benefit of not having to detailing the top and the sides especially for pole works. If you decide to give it another go, put in an Ettore or Unger green rubber. The angle of the channel should be much closer to the glass.

That moerman soap is fucking pish and that moerman sleeve aye is also pish used the moerman channels and handles for about 5 years had to put the tape that car manufacturers use on there wiring looms on the excelator handle hasnt bugded and tape has lasted a while but yeah love hate relashionship and also that meorman blue rubber i bin the fuckers as soon as i get a new channel recently tested the new moerman grey rubbers and fucking levels up on that blue pish

With this setup get that boo boo blue rubber out first of all Install some hard BD mix up some Sudsy solition with sufactacnt Use the angles of the handle as presented by the window/door type Recognize that the tool is a finely aged bourbon not the house whiskey Then ask yourself...Are you an ameruer or a professional? Craftsman dont blame their tools in any trades We should be no different Now the bottom line Some people are unwilling to make adjustments to meet the channels hang ups It is a $$$$ making machine for my day to day needs.
