Exciting! Enjoy. Try the water bottle hack, it works ok on the freeway. It takes a little getting used to trusting the system.

I haven’t figured out the trick yet. I’ve had both the water bottle and the clamp perform flawlessly off camera. When I drove home from the dealership I used the water bottle the whole way. But other times I just can’t find the sweet spot. Of course I don’t try very often. No reason to disconnect OpenPilot.

Just a tip, the steering “sensor” senses for the resistance experienced by the steering wheel when it turns on its own. In other words, you need unto jiggle your steering wheel if no hands, or apply some weight on the wheel such that the motor in the wheel feels like someone is holding the wheel.

I can't compare it to OpenPilot. On low curves, the OpenPilot is much more stable and does not stray from its lane. tss2 a bit disappointed

As you said, openpilot is unplugged so you can you TSS 2.0 When you plug in openpilot again to the OBD 2 port, will you have to recalibrate it again like the first time. Or will it start working like it did before.

I just unplugged the USB-C connection on the back of the Comma2 for this video. I left the OBD2 port plugged in. I only remember having to recalibrate one time. I think it was after an update. You don't have to calibrate every time and when you do, it only takes a couple minutes of driving.

@@MixMasterMinix okay. I don't want it to drain the battery unnecessarily during winter months. Also, if i wish to not use open pilot all the time, i want the stock precoalition system and ABS system to work with comma 2 turned off.

No. And if you ignore the sound it will disable cruise control.
