Some of my friends use Fanny packs and been a long-standing user of hydration pack with a spine protection feature. True it’s hotter in the summer and that’s why I’ve considered Fanny packs for hot summer days and for easier trails

Looks nice. I ditched my seat bag years ago and use a Lowe hip pack. It allows me to carry tools, tubes, pump and my tire pliers which wouldn’t fit otherwise.

One cool thing it looks like you can wash just the hip belt without emptying all your gear easier and faster sounds like a win to me

For road riding , am I better with cycling Jersey or a hip pack ? I have to drive to find the roads I ride on

I’d stick with a jersey for road cycling. Some have more generous pockets than others. Definitely look for a jersey that has larger pockets. It makes a huge difference
