I've just checked the new genius reel on Ali express. Which would you say is best for perch fishing there is 2 different gear ratios 6.4:1 and 8.0:1. Great video very informative

Me personally I would go with the 6:4:1 as it will stop you fishing too fast. You can always wind faster. Just my opinion though.

As someone just starting out with "BFS" in your opinion is this a good place to start? Or would you just jump it and get the Dark Wolf Ultra? I'm coming from a background of "LRF" and "Ultralight Spinning."

Hi guys, sorry but I have absolutely no trust in this pale chinese copy. I don't understand this trend to buy and to fish with cheaper and lower quality reels. I had in hand one of the Tsurinoya BFS reel in past weeks and it feels really unconsistant. Cheers!
