When I was a kid my friend's dad, who was a cop whose detail was to drive the mayor.... did 30 days in jail for decieving the court by bringing a guy there pretending to be a victim who wished to drop charges... because a friend of his was the defendant in the case. He got caught. If they didn't contact you, and he was let off because they didn't contact you.... I would foia request emails, texts, etc related to this matter from cops, da, etc, etc...

The victim is ALWAYS supposed to be contacted by the prosecutor. Without the victim, the prosecutor cannot proceed with their case. I believe they purposefully refused to contact you so the state employee would get off free of charge.
