I love that you are getting back to racing the Tamiya cars. Great content!

Glad you enjoyed it. Unfortunately it was short lived as our local onroad season is now over. I might make it out to some other events, but really expect it'll be fall before I do it regularly again.

@@netcruzer Have you been to a TCS race yet? They are having one in PA the Weekend of Jun 24th. Not sure where you're located but the TCS series are a blast to attend!

Man, that stock class looks like so much fun

Way fun. I’d say If you want to do it build a TT02. I’m setting myself back for speed with the TT01 gearing.

Over here in the uk we race a similar class, Tamiya stock class, a few mods are allowed, can can run upgraded front drive shafts and centre shaft, with bearings and dampers. So we get a few setup options, we have to run a Tamiya kit tyre and body. We use tt01 and tt02 and no special chassis like R or SR Cool to see it happening over the globe too :) Nice smooth driving too

Hey man, watching your vids(and a couple other channels), kinda made me get into gear, and take part in the local race scene. I got myself a Tt01 truck, and its been a blast. Looking to hop onto the 17.5t blinkys soon. I really enjoy your touring car and carpet stuff in general! Cheers

Some really great driving! I loved the surprise of "when did I move up?" What a pleasant surprise! I am still amazed on how well you on-road guys drive... I would beat a car to death out there!

Yeah these TT02 ford GT kits do seem faster top speed. I need to check the rules there might be a gear I can change to match their gearing more. Or it could be a weight and aero thing. Not sure.

Do you have a link to the TTGT rules. I looked and I assumed it would be easy to find but unfortunately not. Great videos and I purchased two TT02 kits and a bunch of upgrades to try out. Fun and please keep up the content. I hope to see you at Electrosport or Smithfalls for a race or two.

I got 2 TT02’s for my son and I to race. How do you find the plastic? I have broken a bunch of arms and even cracked the chassis from minor crashes.
@netcruzer2 жыл бұрын
I’ve not seen that or broken any parts. I find them very strong. TT02 might be a bit weaker, and it had an issue of front axles popping out, so we are allowed to run steel CVD as front axles in TT02. But chassis tub and arms and suspension all stock.
