Just a heads up Trent, when you see a Seal poking it's head up looking right at you, just know that Seal is a look out and it has friends hiding underneath the water out of eye sight. If you sit real still at the edge if the waterline, do not make a move just be frozen in place like driftwood, patience, then you will see that Seal stick his head up closer to you each time! Be still do not keep them see you move. Soon the whole bunch will be right at your feet rolling in the surf sometime just a few feet from you. Sometimes just inches! Last time on the Southern Oregon Coast I had at least 5 almost touching my boots! Some just laying on their backs with their big black eyes that reflect your image and surroundings. It's amazing to be so close to nature, a gift you can never forget! Just so you know! 😊 But it takes patience and I doubt Millie would hold still for that amazing experience.

Trent, As someone who lived/vanlifed in Ak for a year and a half, I only left to help a dear friend of mine, otherwise, I'd have stayed. There is no more free state in the United States, no state more Vanlife friendly, no other state where surviving in the wild and a pioneer mindset is more apparent. I miss AK, and God willing, that is where I will find myself living again until it's time to meet my maker. Safe travels friend, and drink in the sights and experience, there are few things in this world like it.

Be it a few months, a year or even a decade just to see how it pans out. @robertyoung7027 - I'm not meaning to be pushy or wanting to invade your space, but if you are at all interested, there's another small You Tube creator/channel name is Jeffie Bear - he is diabetic and due to severe health issues associated with it, he ended up having to have both his legs amputated above-the-knee. He was a van-guy before that and honestly, he felt his life was over with and he got so down. He sold his van. But then way earlier this past year, he saw a sale ad somewhere, like Facebook Marketplace perhaps, and found a van that was already wheelchair-driving equipped,, but alas, he couldn't afford the van. That's where several creators stepped up and did a GoFundMe for Jeffie Bear and he was able to buy the van....AND, we had all raised enough money to get the van renovated on the inside to being a van-lifer van for him!! Minus a few hiccups along the way, Jeffie Bear is back on the road and living his dream again. Just wanted to let you know that sometimes, a door can open, and your dreams really CAN come true. God bless and hang in there and keep enjoying Trent's videos - I love his videos too.

Food for thought; An Alaskan winter brings freezing temperatures for months on end in almost perpetual darkness. The winter blues are a real thing that hits hard in January till April / May thaw when daylight returns. Sunsets at midnight are contrasted by less than 4 hours of daylight in a winter cold that is unrelenting and will kill you. If you can accept the dangers Alaska is a beautiful place.
