Hey! Here's a little video on the two new moves that Goombella and Koops have in Hero Mode!

I just want to say, i spent 2 days in a row making these moves and only had like, 5 hours of sleep lmao But I am happy with these! (Edit: Drillbonk does 3 hits and Koops will have a Defensive option, just at a later rank, thank you.)

First of all, I love the Sleet Shot animation. Second of all, he has both ice and fire element moves! Interesting.. Elemental weaknesses just weren't important in original TTYD, and I think it's really cool that this mod seems to be prioritizing them a lot more.

I really love how the balancing is done in this mod. Like, it isn't just the same moves but nerfed to make it harder, you actually add interesting effects to everything that make them more powerful than og to MATCH the increased difficulty and make it a well balanced (and fun) experience. Please keep it up!

Goombella and Mario double jump, Mario shooting koops constantly on ground, something with flurrie. The possibilities are endless

Oh my god the Sound on goombellas bock is so satisfying. And THANK GOD you can attack airborne enemies with koops now. He really nieder that imo. Really cool attacks. Keep up the great work man. ^^

The timing for drillbonk looks wild, that’ll take some getting used to but it seems so worth it! Goombella being able to flip enemies and knock them over will be so helpful

the animation for sleet shot already looks super satisfying but honestly what completes it for me is the ice damage sound effect, i feel like it really just emphasizes the sheer impact of koops flinging himself into the enemy (even if unintentionally so)

Taking away Koops defensive utility is odd, but on the other hand I'm a really big fan of sleet shot mechanically. I would say it looks a bit overpowered but I can only imagine it's meant to scale with the upped difficulty of hero mode.

I am a balance fiend, nothing will be broken. and I have something in store for Defensive Utility for Koops, It's just a later rank because it was always stupid that it was Super Rank.

Love how multibomk is so strong that balancing it required placing a bounce limit of only 3 and making it take hp to use... at least she can hit spiky enemies now lol

Yo, it would be so sick if you made some of the original Paper Mario 64 partners into optional boss fights. Even if only with the partners already in the game, it would gesture of love to the grandfather of Paper Mario

Just discovered this and am Immediately hooked. Love the slightly changed designs for the entire cast, and the new moves fit perfectly within the game. The nighttime version of the first chapter looks beautiful. Is this just gonna be a gameplay mod or do you have any larger plans? My writer brain is already filling in the holes.

If sleet shot deals the same damage to the second target, then it looks like it behaves more like Gulp than Super Hammer

@@nicolasn12 Nah, but they're nerfed and everything in Hero Mode does slightly more damage, so you won't even have a chance if you're spamming HP moves. Superguards use SP now and some enemies CANNOT be superguarded. The game tells you this.

Im waiting for the mod to be completed to play it all at once, i just hope you add a Jr mod too, im too good for a regular TTYD run with double pain, but I'm too bad for paper mario master quest and from videos ive seen of people playing this, it worries me that it goes too hard lol
