@VonJay2 жыл бұрын
Dan Orlovsky’s analysis is imo far superior (that and it’s two minutes long) though I do like this one. I think that television analysts purposefully stray away from personnel type analyses to protect the integrity of the coaches scheme. For instance when the fins were in their own end zone, Mcdaniel put two half backs, a tight end and two wrs out there. This made Baltimore think they were running the ball. So the ravens sent out three linebackers. But when the dolphins lined up, they spread everyone out as wrs. Since the safety was in zone, this put a linebacker on waddle, because they were thinking screen to the left perhaps. It was a phenomenal design before they lined up. Tua eye fucks the safety side to draw him more over there, waits for waddle to break the linebackers ankles, then hits him on the other side

Cornerback Marcus Peters was playing in his first game in 20 months after tearing his ACL and was on a pitch count. He didn’t look close to pre-injury form. Veteran cornerback Kyle Fuller tore his ACL in last Sunday’s season-opening win over the New York Jets. And the team’s No. 3 corner, Brandon Stephens, was inactive Sunday because of a quad injury.”

What’s crazy is how a lot of these plays came on 3rd and long situations. Ppl downplay the throws because of how “open” the receivers were but if any one of those throws are missed, dropped, tipped at the line, etc. the comeback likely doesn’t happen. Tua reminded me of Brady in that 4th qtr with the clutch throws and taking advantage and making Baltimore pay on every single mistake and turn over on downs.
@cageary11002 жыл бұрын
In addition to Tua being talented and having a lot of good teachers around him, let's also give the man some credit for being a SPONGE with the training he's getting. Still obv too early to tell how a whole career will pan out, but if a guy is playing with this level of instinct AND intelligence, you've gotta give him props for internalizing all the good coaching and turning it into results.

Burrow gets all the credit but has Jamar Chase, Higgins, and Boyd all of which are legit very good receivers Boyd is the worst of the three and is better than the #1 of quite a few teams and Mixon is a top 10 RB, Herbert gets all the credit(more than he deserves) and has Keenan Allen who’s a top 10 WR and Mike Williams who’s probably a top 20 WR and he also has Ekeler who’s probably a top 5 RB at least top 10, as for tua he has Tyreek, Waddle and Gessiki which is great Tyreek is top 5 and waddle is probably top 20 at least top 25 Gessiki is a top 10 TE probably but as for the RBs Mostert and Edmonds aren’t scrubs by any stretch but they’re not even close to top 10 they’re maybe both top 30 but yet Tua doesn’t get the credit it’s all because of Tyreek or McDaniels when if tua ain’t getting the ball where it needs to be neither of them would be getting any praise (other than hill getting praise for making that money)
