The noise that it makes can be heard in the first minute of the video below: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZpOlp2mMmrqVmpI And that plumber didn’t change the diverter on the first visit, so he got a callback and had to replace the diverter on a second visit ;)

@@tb6237 diverter. I have a Moen. Monday I'm calling them for a free replacement.

Moen has lifetime warranty to the original purchaser (or owner if property is new) and will send replacement parts for free. No need to buy unless you are in some rush. That is one of the big reasons I recommend Moen to those who ask about faucets.

Great video! I was able to change out the one in my bathroom. Where can I find the silicone gasket? They didn't have it at menards or on amazon.

Problem is, 10 years after installation, no one sells that make or model of spout anymore. Whole new setup required.

I put a new tub spout on and mine was is making a whining noise. My old spout had a sweat on which I replaced with a tub spout that has a sweat on fit.

It’s still making the noise. I am wondering if I should just return the tub faucet and put a new one on to see if it fixes it. Everything seems fine with everything else
