Guys this is a great microsystem to use on your turntable and with this upgrade you will gain a cleaner, a higher quality of your sound. You will have a nice warm, clear sound from you. Great demo , Both 12ax7 and 12au7 tubes are used for specially for the gain channel in Guitar amps , 12ax7 has more gain than the 12au7 .

Mine won’t connect to my 2021 Tv I have the white and red rca cables all set but nothing. HDMI won’t work either.

Wonder if the hiss went away. If you listen in headphones there is no hiss, and I am pretty sure it is using the tube preamp stage. So I am afraid the hiss will still be there after vacuum tube swap. On the other hand the power amp is a miniscule board with a TDA8920, and as I understand it always has hiss if separation between AGND and PGND is not done properly.

Put back the original 12AX7 ,the sound will be ok as original .If you want to change it ,forget it ,just buy 12ax7 from gold lion,tungsram ,tung sol and see the difference .12ax7 has more gain 100 , than 12au7 has just 60 that s why the sound from your system is low .
